Check out Project Farms latest ratchet test. Snap on came in like 5th or 6th and was beaten by a 19.00 ratchet😂😂😂. Number 1 was gearwrench
I changed that color to high vis yellow lol
@@Yourmanisbroke hahaha no way. This one came as high vis
Spicy
that literally takes longer than swapping out tools at harbor freight 😏
@@heavyspam1 haha i see what your saying. For one this truck pulls up to the shop, and two i was just getting my preferred handle put on my new ratchet 😅
I guess my time is more valuable than yours. I’d rather spend a little bit more money supporting a good Snap on dealer that takes care of me, then returning broken tools. Not to mention a tool company that the majority of their products are made in the USA.
@ Spend money on overpriced tool brand thats getting sued 🤔 nobody has time for that
Nobody cares if you buy Harbor Freight Tools. Spend your money how you choose. While I don’t see value in dropping six bucks on a cup of coffee at Starbucks, I don’t I don’t have a problem spending $150.00 on a Snap on or Matco ratchet.
@ only problem with snap on is they’re deceiving there customers with overpriced tools that other cheaper brands are now matching …. People should be smart with their money..
What's the part number for the rubber boot? I can't seem to find it here in the US.
Can we swap soft handle grip for the hard handle?
Yes
you have to grind off a couple mm then you can. Co woker did it.
Did he put it on aligned with the ratchet head? Looks crooked
@@combo6340 yep he got it how they come. Does look odd from this angle
The power blue is SICK!! 👌
Snap-on… the original rape van
I just bought mine but I noticed that when it leans forward or backward something moves inside as if it were the motor. Is this normal or should I return it for warranty?
@@alexispina302 had to double check. Mine does that too
@@Jaioctai Thanks a lot! I was worried that it was a factory defect.
Its normal
Where did you get the rubber boot for the gun
@@chillicurrtios1786 it was on the mac truck!
Matco?
@@chillicurrtios1786 Mac tools. Mac and Dewalt are partner brands
Ohhhh nice I didn’t know that 😅thank you👍
I need that dcf961 boot😍😍
Got one at my job love it
Flex head is my go to ratchet back in the 80's, 90's & 2000's when I was a mechanic still
Every time I buy something that says “save $______” i need to start depositing that amount to my savings. Lol wondering how quick it would add up
Where can I get the rubber boot
That's really my go too ratchet everyday. Long handle, flex head, 90T. I like the 120 but for tough bolts I stripped them. So 90T my preference.
Those heads always give making u lose power
Because they are the worst tool ever invented!!!
God forbid anyone have any level of CONVENIENCE 🤣 If you’re putting enough torque on your flex head to break it. Buy a better brand or out a breaker bar to it. “Just use a deep or a 1” extension” sure sure, you could OR i can go get my flex head. Quit meat riding to hate 😂
@@ultrathinnmemes5951 ya everybody is so mad these days .. like oh ok u dont like using the right tool for the job. no need to get pissy 😂
You could pull the actuator off and just use a normal ratchet
@@meanmachinesgaming most techs are flat rate my guy.
@@Jaioctai I mean yeah most are
Or you could just use a deep socket. Or A 1inch extensions. Or A box wrench. Or A ratchet wrench.
@@johnaranjo2059 showed why a deep socket wouldnt work. And sure if u wanna take 3 times as long🤔 remember most techs are flat rate bud.
You just showed why we don’t like them unless absolutely necessary 😂 Don’t be a bozo, just use a deep wall socket, I hope this is satire
@@dvin5170 who made u so miserable?😂 i explained and showed why a deep socket wouldn’t work… Bozo
@@Jaioctai ummm that’s most definitely not a deep well socket, but just busting balls anyways man
@@Jaioctai extension to long, reg socket to short, deep socket just right
Go back to 80s there was no need for flex heads... We made do and often removed things and didn't work around shit...
@@Andrew-vd2ko lol “no need for flex heads” theres always a need for em they help save time. Id gladly go to the 80’s tho!
Because they break and box wrenches exist
@@cgwworldministries83 never had one brake yet.
@@cgwworldministries83 havnt broke one yet 🤔
@@Jaioctai you have to work longer than 3 weeks rofl
@@cgwworldministries83 u gotta buy better tools my man
@@Jaioctai I do, I buy the right tool for the job and not some shilled product some chinese manufacturer told me to shill on youtube ;)
Nice
Or a box wrench could fix that
@@urmom-n8r and take 3-4 times longer
I put a hard handle on mine a few months back, had the head at a 90 and put the handle in a vice with rags around it… then I just taped it with a rubber mallet. I heard boiling water works too
whys there a condom on it
But somehow is still chasing Milwaukee? Looks like they ripped off the rubberized casing idea.
😂 wow. Literally every impact since the 70s had a rubber “boot” accessory option. Nothing Milwaukee created
I would just use a ratchet and get it out twice as quick at that point and save myself the head ache of impact gun 😂
@@johncoldwell340 hahaha 😂
@@johncoldwell340 wait i just re read this ? “Get it out” ? I was putting it in.
@@JaioctaiI must have been drunk with the sound off 😂
As a Milwaukee person I hate to say it but the 1/2” dewalt absolutely destroys a Milwaukee 3/4” 😅
I have all Milwaukee except the 961 and 921 impacts and their jigsaw. Undeniably great tools 🧰
Where did you get the protective boot
@@motomemory_ on the mac truck
Yeah fr, i've been trying to get one here in the states but dewalt says they don't have them for sale here yet
@@andrestoodrip6616 wow weird man. U guys usually get everything first.
@@Jaioctai yeah, I guess they have decided recently for other countries get new items first which is fine by me, but it’s been over a year since dcf961 came out, I’ve had mine for 3 months and I don’t want it to continue getting scuffed😩

I’m telling you all. Flex brand is the BEST of the BEST.
We have a Dewalt half inch that belongs to the company we call the wristbreaker 1000
My 1/2 drive stubby Milwaukee that only puts out 250 ft lbs of torque does it in about the same amount of time if not a little bit faster, we’d have to test
Yall Milwaukee folk are something else 😂
Im sure that works ok but i mean 250 ft lbs is different that 1200ft lbs. my 250 gun sure wouldnt suck em in that nice.
Use one time and then u have too wait 30 mins too use it again for one bolt iv worked in building metal framing for metal structures and we used similar tools just hooked up too the generator… recommend the older dewalts they sturdy
Hmmm. The new powerstack batterys last forever.
@@PNWDADDY so after a month of use. Lug nuts, axel nuts, ball joints and more ive only charged the battery 3 times. It aint 1985 anymore 😂
Milwaukee is better
Keep telling yourself that
Milwaukee is made in china 😂
Ew
Ive had mine for about a month now, works awesome. Heavy though...
@@connordwyer1209 ya very heavy. Im looking at also getting the 900 break away gun. Weighs 4 lbs instead of 8 lol
I also have he 899 for day to day jobs. The 961 is just for when nothing else works, its overkill 98% of the time
Gives you that nice bicep pump after holding it for a minute though
@@connordwyer1209the 900 is basically the 899 just on steroids. The look the exact same but so much more powerful at the same price usually too.
@@jordanalexander615 I would have gone with the 900, but it was in a kit with 3 batteries and a 3/8 impact and a bunch of adapters for half the price it would be individually
where did you find the boot for the dcf961? ive been loving everywhere

@@bunghoelio9026 Canadian doller ? And the 1750 ft lbs break away? I dont think so
Definitely not the dcf 961 for that price. Maybe the 899
@@jordanalexander615 tool only was $499 canadian. Couldnt believe it. Still think it was a error cuz the 900 was more money 🤔
@@Jaioctai 499 Canadian sounds correct at a large DeWalt seller . But tools trucks typically would charge a 60 percent mark-up or more from that price. I got my 900 for 350 US as a kit. And before it was supposed to be released lol Lowes put it on the shelf a week before they were supposed to.
@@jordanalexander615 ahh yess. Our mac guy trys to give us the best price he can. %60 is crazyyy. Thats awesome though that you got it early.

@@taylorkokoski8987 meh, lil bit isnt bad 🤪
Speaking objectively as I have both Milwaukee and dewalt. If you’re keeping the ratchet. Dewalt is a fine choice. They’re pretty evenly matched with the Milwaukee and are a tad bit cheaper. Milwaukee has a better 12v line and far superior ratchets, but they sure are proud of them with the cost
