Lions Park Station - also called "North Hill Station" by some bus routes - is a light rail station apart of the CTrain network of Calgary. It is located on the Northwest leg of the Red Line in between SAIT/AUArts/Jubilee Station and Banff Trail Station. It is located in the Northwest Calgary community of Hounsfield Heights/Briar Hill, next to the North Hill Centre shopping mall.
Lions Park Station opened in 1987 as apart of the opening of a major extension north-ward of the Route 201 Blue Line (now called the Red Line), which brought transit to the University of Calgary just-in-time for the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics.
