I grew up here. Went to school at Pandan Primary. Fished here as a kid. Caught fish at the longkangs around Teban and Pandan Gardens. Heck, we even swam here. I stopped swimming when I saw a crocodile sunbathing on the rocks. Must have came in from Pandan Reservoir. That was back in the 80s and I doubt there's any left. I also saw one of the largest freshwater fish i've seen pulled out from this manmade lake. From recollection, it looks like a tarpon.

i was going to go and use a drop shot with stuff from the US recently and make a video about it but u neat me to it 🤣and also u should try and use those weights which u just have to slide the line through and it pinches and stays cause if u snag u just lose the weight not the lure and hook or maybe even ur leader.
