Fishing for Bass, Peacock Bass, Bullseye Snakehead, Crappie, & Much More! My name is Doc. I’m a regular father & husband in South Florida who loves to fish & wants to encourage you to do the same!
Join me as I fish for bass, peacock bass, bullseye snakehead, crappie, snook, and other species using a variety of lures, gear, and techniques in Florida's freshwater lakes, ponds, canals, oceans, and saltwater flats.
I believe there is no better way to relieve stress and spend time with family & friends then fishing and enjoying the outdoors. If you are like me, you often don’t have a lot of extra time to get out and fish, so I want to help people like us get the most out of our time out on the water.
Let’s build a community of like minded people and help each other get the most of our time spent doing what we love. Fishing and spending time outdoors.

Is there any difference between a bullseye snakehead and what we refer to as a northern snakehead here in Maryland?
Hi glad to see you back. Missed your videos..
Thanks! I was nice to get out and catch some fish and post the video. Been really busy, but all is good!
Awesome fish, man. Still need to scratch it off my bucket list. Just subscribed to your channel for future vids. Keep up the awesome work man and tight lines
Thanks! Really appreciate it! Totally worth scratching these fish off your bucket list. Hoping you're able to do so.
@@CoastalFeverTV nothing better. Good luck 👍
Way to get on em Doc- been a while since we have seen you, welcome back
Thanks James! It was nice to get out for a little bit and catch some peas! Hope you've been well my friend.
MERMAID HUNTING!!!
Nice little spot! Tons of action. That'd be a spot I'd probably overlook.
One of my favorite spots! They like to hide in those spots. Especially this time of year.
Nice job Doc! Big Ole hump on that first one!!
@@ThatShinerGuy Thanks Rob!
Great to see you out there buddy! Some nice catches! Hope all is well with you and your family!
Thanks David! It was nice to get out for a few hours. All is well down here. Hope the same for you.
Good stuff Doc
Thanks Jon!
Such cool fish
100% agree! Hope you've been well.
Beautiful peacocks brother! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching and sharing out the video Brother Mark!
Man they were thick in that spot! I always loved how chill they are when you release them. They just swim off like it never happened. Speaking of releases, they got better as the video progressed LOL. Good to see you out fishing bud!
It was good to get out for a few hours Joe. I agree. They way they swim off is always fun to watch.
Hey Doc, good to see you out and about. How come nobody eats Peacock bass?
Hey Steve! Hope you've been well. I've heard mixed reviews on how they taste. Some say they are really good, others say they are nasty. I've never tired one. They are a catch and release fish for me.
That’s so cool Doc!! Getting Peacock bass in that small water. They were beauties!!! Nice adding a few lm bass too 😉👊
Some one say my name ?
@@SWCFLORIDA 😆
Thanks Chris! Had to catch some LM's just to make sure I had some variety LOL!
Hey your back! Hope all is well👍
Hey Ted! Was able to get out for a couple of hours and it was nice that the fish cooperated LOL! All is really well. I hope the same for you and the family.
Those fish are something else. I'm glad you caught different ones this time... just kidding around of course! If I recall, the last time, you were able to pick off the same fish more than once.
That's correct Ryan. Good to catch some "new" ones this time LOL!
Good size peacocks. Good to see you out fishing.
Thanks Mrs. Lyndia! It was fun to get out and fish for a few hours.
Definitely a 70s p0rn soundtrack 😂 i posted this before you said it 😂🤙

@@wonka5476 This is Lake Ida in Delray Beach.
are we all evasive species in this country 🤔
I feel so goofy catching these guys. You just piss them off and they bite 🤣
So True!
do they have them in Jupiter healing down for july 4th weekend looking to get a peacock and snakehead have tw o or 3 days
@@quint2117 I personally have not caught them, or seen them in the Jupiter area. But I have seen videos of people catching them there.
OUTSTANDING!!!
The worst fish handling (from both of you) I've ever seen. If you were in the UK you'd be banned from even owning a rod.
Facts!!
I’m going on a trip to Florida outside of Clearwater and really wanna hook into my first snakehead. What spots can I try out? I’m willing to drive quite a ways too. Thank you
Thanks for checking out the video. I'm not very familiar with the Clearwater area when it comes to the possibility of catching snakeheads over there. I can give you some areas in the southeast region of the state though. The area we fished in this video is on the Stanahan River, probably about 4 and half hours from Clearwater. Some other areas are in West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, & Delray Beach. Look for any canal on google maps in those areas and you should find some snakeheads. The Lake Ida & Lake Osbourne chains hold a lot of them. Hope that helps and hope you can catch some. Good luck and safe travels!
Great video! I have been struggling lately with bites and switched to this and it has done wonders 😁
Thanks man! Glad the switch helped ya pick up some fish.
Good video man! Gotta try peacock bass sometime.
Thanks Creel. Let me know if you head down this way and we’ll go catch em up!
Some nice largemouth, and those peacocks are gorgeous... even if they're dumb enough to strike twice🤣
Thanks Ryan! If they come back to the bed they were on they’ll keep swatting at the bait if you put it in front of their face. So much fun to catch em.
That 2nd one’s belly was full 😳 4:00 football! Funny with the Shad down his throat and still eating 😆 Absolutely gorgeous looking Peacocks Doc!!! Wow…catching the one twice, that’s really something. Nice to see you back on the water my friend 👊
Thanks Chris! It was nice to get out and catch some fish. Been a while LOL!
Very nice job out there! That bait rocks! Those peacock bass are just absolutely beautiful! So good to see you back Doc! Hope all is well with you and your family!
Thanks David. All is very well with me and the family. Hope the same for you.
Good to see ya …👍🏻
Thank Jon! Was nice to get out and fish for a bit.
Thank you for sharing brother!! Good to see ya my friend!
Thanks brother Mark!

@@CoastalFeverTV you're welcome
Your videos just keep on getting better. What an action packed day. 💪🏻 💥
Thank you very much!
do you guys catc peacock all around in Florida i will be donw in october novmber time and trying to gage if its possible to try then other than largemouth. - also are they within all pools or selected. little infor wouldnt go a miss. - other than than really enjoyed that bud. new sub from jersey uk :)
Thanks for checking out the channel. I really appreciate the follow! October and November can still be a good time to catch them. It will really depend on the amount of cold fronts we get, and how much the temperature will drop that time of year. If the fronts aren’t too strong and the water temperature doesn’t drop significantly you’ll still be able to find some and catch them. The further south you go the better chance you have to find them in multiple bodies of water. It’s hit or miss in northern Palm Beach County. From the Boynton area south to Miami you will find more of them in more bodies of water.
Handling fish properly is important.
👍🏻
Hey Mr. Ryan. My name is also Ryan though I'm not Irish. Are you Irish? I like Ireland. Do you know how a non-resdient from out of states can fish in Florida?
Hey Ryan. No, I’m not Irish either. Appreciate you checking out the video. Non-residents who are 16 years of age or older are required to have Florida licenses to fish freshwater and saltwater. A 12 month Non-resident license is $47 A 7 Day Non-resident license is $30 A 3 Day Non-resident license is $17 You can purchase them online through the FWC Website.
@@CoastalFeverTV Thank you very much! Floridian fishing licenses are better than CA.
Is the belverde spot still good
I haven’t been there in a while. The last time I was there it wasn’t that great. Saw a couple of peacocks and managed to catch only one.
Funny we call that a broward county slam
Where is that
Where is it
What canals are those
What kinda hook is that ? I’m going there this weekend for peacock
We were using 3/0 and 4/0 Eagle Claw EWG hooks. Good luck out there. Hope you catch em up!
That’s not a 7”’fluke 🤷♂️
Muito bom! Parabéns pelos exemplares. Esse peixe é muito apreciado no Brasil por sua esportividade 😉 Mais um inscrito no seu canal 🤜🤛
it's ridiculous ALL Snakehead species were banned because of 2 or 3 species....What a joke this is!!! I live in Queens NYC we have flushing park lake, loaded with snakeheads that were released years ago (Channa argus) They did Nothing to the fish population..White Perch rule that lake. I catch Argus in casting nets in Spring by the dozens as fry. The water is brackish and is fed into by salt water by the long Island sound. I wish they had Bullseye. My 900 Acrylic aquarium would have one
To me it's so strange to see people fishing big ol fish on lakes with mowed lawns. In nthe middle of cities. Different world completely! Thanks for sharing man!
