All the great men of Reformation (Martin Luther - Jan Hous - Knox - Tyndayle etc) in the era of 1500-1700 agreed that the antichrist is the Pope and the beast of Revelation is the Catholic church. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue 42 months.'' In the Biblical times a month had 30 days. So 42months (x) 30 days = 1260 days. However in Ezekiel 4:6 + Numbers 14:34 God gives one year for every day. So we have 1260 years for the beast. In 538 AD. general Belisarious of the emperor Justidian enters Rome and proclaims the Pope first among all bishops. So Middle Ages officially begin. in 1798 AD general Berthier of Napoleon sends the Pope into exile, catalyzes papal power and officially ends the Middle Ages. Do the math plese. 1798-538 = 1 2 6 0 years. The system of the Catholic church is the beast !!!
