The Cost of Ride Share Taxi's in Kuala Lumpur
G'day,
In today's video I chat about the cost of ride share taxi's in KL. Would be the cheapest we've had in South East Asia. Also the cost of take away food deliveries. The main ride share company is Grab so before you head to South East Asia, don't forget to download the Grab app to your smartphone. We find it more intuitive to use than Ubers app.
Cheers
Brian

Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

G'day, In today's video we highlight some of the birds at Kuala Lumpur Bird Park plus the Bird Show. There are many more birds in the park(around 200 species in total), but as they are in enclosed bird cages, it does not make good filming through the wires. G'day, In today's video I do a walk around Avenue K Mall KL. Pretty much across the road from the Suria KLCC Mall and the Twin Towers. A smaller mall that has some cheap cloths stores, thrift store, cheap food court, connection to the LRT(Light Rapid Transport), and a supermarket and liquor store. Also found an excellent SPA for different treatments. I loved their Traditional Thai Massage and w...

What a nice food court in the Four Seasons Place in KL. Would you know if the Robinsons store is still in business at the Four Seasons Place.
Robinsons not there now
@BrianSomewhere Too bad. Four Seasons Place is still relatively new in KL. I heard that the Robinsons closed down after the pandemic and lockdown in Malaysia from 2020 to 2022.
Don't know if you'll see this but how did your find a place for 6 weeks. Just came across this and while I usually stay elsewhere this looks like it would be fun for a month or so. Thanks for the video. New subscriber ;)
Hi, I actually just came across this video because I booked a stay via Airbnb that is located in the same building he stayed at. Hope that helps!
@@Jess-pl3yn thanks - so it was air bnb not directly - did you have any issues with the condo b/c some won't allow short term (less than 3 or 6 months)
I am also 1 block from this intersection at the XT Huaikhwang that I found on Airbnb. I am on the 37 floor with a fantastic view. I arrived November 3rd and will be staying until the end of January for all of the local festivities, then on to Bali. I booked a hotel first and then canceled it to stay here. I want more emenities, and if you want know what those are just look for this condo on TH-cam. I enjoy the area because there is a lot to do and I am still close to everything. There a lot of markets, malls, fairs and grocery stores that I walk to all the time. I also enjoy the bars, pubs and bistro that are located near me. When he standing on the corner showing the food market and MRT 1, you can see a very tall building behind the market and that is XT Huaikhwang
Better off waiting for the afternoon cheap Charlie beer bar happy hour sessions . Then you can drink until you pass out on the beer sodden and cigarette ash soaked beer bar cane lounge chairs or couch . And if you can stand up straight and appear some what sober you might be able to get on your Smokey old clapped out Scooby scooter or Honda click and make it back home . Failing that just stand there and stare aimlessly into the sky until you get your wits about you and stumble home.
hmmm...
Alcohol is just a drug. Nothing good come out of it... .
Love from mahweet ❤
Import tax is very high i Thailand, but income tax and Vat is only 7%, so look for things that are made in Thailand. Beer and alcohol made in Thailand is not expencive.
nice...
Wonderful food court in KL Pavilion.
Thank you so much for your Great Reviews Sir, We are really appreciate it, Thank you so much for everything:). Mr Zaidi
They are renovating zoom at the moment. Ready for October apparently!
Buffalo trace is 24 bucks at Walmart you need me to send it to you 😂
Can u mention the shop please
What a wonderful place to eat.
Wonderful Food Exchange.
Thanks, next time include the tequila.
You don't mention the terrible air pollution. I can't see how you can claim it's underrated or that it's full of green space. Take for example your claim of all the green your see when you drive in from KLIA. It's all oil palm that has devastated the natural environment. You're so wrong on so many apsects.
Beautiful bird park in KL.
24$ for a bottle of Jose isnt to terrible. I mean yeah its high. But only bout 3 or 4 bucks more then Walmart
Carlsberg?
Sir beer bottle price in night club
Thank you for the vlog
You’re welcome 😊
Why drink whisky when you can smoke weed and fly
Beautiful KLCC, amazing Petronas Twin Towers, lovely KLCC park and wonderful Suria KLCC.
Focus your camera
Kok cuma Petronasssssssssssssss terus yg dibanggakan ? Ngga maluuuuuuuuu ?????
Habis mau apa yang dibanggakan tempat yang kotor atau kumbahannya atau duduk digang yang sempit datu moto speda yang boleh lalu atau duduk bawah kolong jembatan wah mendonia jugak ya mana lagi malu
Another mall same shops but looks busier than Lalaport. I will have a look tomorrow thank you for this info.
Lalaport looks dead
idk why people still think KL is underrated. Malaysia literally surpassed thailand in tourist arrival last year and majority of them visited KL. Maybe underrated among western countries is more accurate.
What a beautiful mall.
👍👏👏👏😎🤠
PLEASE learn how to pan! SLOW DOWN! you make the viewer nauseous moving the camera so fast.
Keep it underrate..🇲🇾 Keep it clean and beautiful...💚
Thanks for this video I’ll use this when I come
Thank you, there will be plenty more 😎
Hi Brian I just wanted to know if it’s safe in kl as I’m coming in April from Melbourne. Your advice would be appreciated
Hi Georgia, We find KL very safe. We've never had an issue after 17 times there since 2005. Enjoy your trip! Brian
CNY is a BIG festive season here. Most shops are closed during this time. Good luck to those who go shopping around or looking for specific services or restaurant. Happy CNY
Thank you for this video.
Thank you!
@@BrianSomewhere 😀
Pls keep our country underrated. We do not need foreigners to come here and buy the properties, and at the end cause a surge of the properties price. We prefer to keep our beach clean and less busy, we don't want our beach to turn into another Boracay.
Nice one Brian. Hello fellow Aussie
Malaysia has been known to be underrated since the 80s...but tourists arrival to Malaysia is not far behind to Thailand
Underrated? Kuala Lumpur is LITERALLY the 6th the Most Visited Cities in the World which welcomed 13.79 million visitors worldwide last year alone, surpassing other popular cities like New York, Seoul, and Tokyo. You can LITERALLY see tourists everywhere you go from Petronas Twin Towers to Petaling Street Chinatown, so anyone who thinks the city underrated is either blind or not that bright to begin with.
Be aware that the vast majority of those visiting KL are either domestic tourists or Singaporeans. Bangkok, Singapore and Tokyo welcome far larger numbers of international visitors in comparison.
Sex segregation is enforce here. I was yelled at for sitting in female only car at batu cave. I don't speak malaise.
What do you mean by 'female only car' in Malaysia.? No such thing as sex segregation unless may be in a mosque where male and female pray separately.
I found Jakarta to have the cheapest 5star hotels myself!
Remember do not wear the swatch pride watch in Malaysia.. it is a 3 year jail sentence!!
Have a fabulous adventure in Malaysia!
Welcome to Malaysia
Malaysians always complain about KL - especially Chinese Malaysians. They hate their own country and always complain.
Only western that thinks kuala lumpur ounderrated. Everything abouth asia is underrate by erupa.
please stop this narrative that KL is underrated.. its not underrated.. in fact its one of ASEAN top 5 most visited city in that region.. estimate visitor for 2024 will top 27 million people.. this BS about being underrated need to stop.. it not true and its insulting..
Hi..im a Malaysian and thank you for the comments. We (Malaysian) will keep our beloved country of Malaysia , from State or Perlis to State of Sabab, as underrated and unknown to many because we want to keep this country as a Secret Shangri la and Secret Garden of Eden. We no longer want too much promotions on tourism for Malaysia because we only want good and quality foreigners/tourists with high mentality and well behave to come to Malaysia because currently we are having problem with rouge and rude foreigners who came to Malaysia and they think they can do whatever they want. If you have good qualities (high mentality and well behave and professionals) you are welcome to stay longer or even start your own business (High value business) buy an apartment and start your family here. Again, Selamat Datang (Welcome) to Malaysia and please behave.
Malaysia is Trully Asia, not trully Melayu but trully India, China and Bangla!
Don't forget Indonesia.
no1 imigrant worker in malaysia coming from indonesia 🫢🤣 2.5 million
Every place in KL is full of faces of races other than Malay! Where are the Malays?@@farez1577
