I just don't understand why people love to pick on everything he does. I have no problem understanding his message, English is not his first language. Why so much hate for this handsome guy?

Come on give him a break, don't tell me you don't speak with an accent. He got beautiful teeth he did not flash it on purpose. Have you look in the mirror, you keep showing your two big front teeth too. We are Chinese no matter which country we comes from we all have an accent, long as they understand what we are saying, there is nothing wrong to speak with an accent. Just like the Scottish and some of the Indians, they speaks with a very strong accent that we don't even understand what they are saying. I speak with an accent and proud of it. 😠👎

I worked as a Technical Rep, for 20 years. During that 20 years, I spoke with a lot of Asians. They worked the hardest for me to understand them. I found out that the number 7, was the hardest thing for them to say. So I learned all about their little quarks, and guess what? All Asian merchants were transferred to me, because of my patience with these lovely people. It is so sad that you have to break down his English. English is the hardest language to learn. Their sentencing structure is shorter, to the point. William is sweet and a bit shy regarding his English. I could listen to him all day and understand what he is saying. Plus he is directed how he needs to act in that commercial. He is amazing, I hope all of you also think so. (I'm a Air Force brat, I learned the German language before I spoke English. My parents are from Texas, now imagine a child speaking German with a Texan drawl. All my life I wrote and still write in the German structuring of sentences. Drove my teachers nuts, in high school, all my teachers took my work to the German teacher to grade it.) So no one is perfect.

Maybe Chanel was marketing towards the Chinese audience? Yeah, his grammar is not perfect but girllll...he's so damn fine :).

Why not others let them try to learn his dialect if they manage to pronounce it fluently 😉

The point is: can you understand him? Maybe his English is not as perfect as a native speaker because HE IS NOT A NATIVE SPEAKER! Neither do I, if you wanna know...

This is because of his Cantonese accent (as base), not because his British pronunciation. Just like what other Chinese people speaks English with their base (for example: Malay, Thai etc), the English that they speak will sound somewhat different from the original British pronunciation.

Oh, c'mon. He speaks 3 languages. Give him credit. Can y'all do any better?

when i was my school age I remember to have kids activity evenings, we had competitios where we did this stuff. There was bowl of candy´, they gave us chopsticks and then we tried to take as many we got in one minute and when time was out we ate candies we got. That was fun!
