@skylerhickman3646 I enjoy mech shows as well, which from the cards looks like CG is one haha. I will probably watch it before the set comes out.
@@LemonTCG Hilariously enough the shining point of the show is the mind games, cold logic, and moral grey lines. Id be quicker to recomend the show to a deathnote fan than a mecha fan, it really is just a different kind of show but the way the show leaves a lot of questions then ties them together at the end is just pure art. hxh is really the only mainstream anime that competes with it, everything else in the card game just kinda pales
If i play shalnark and get back the 0 energy chrolo and raid ontop of that chrolo do i sidline the raid chrolo at the end of turn
As soon as you raid onto 0 cost Chrolo it becomes a new card "the raided card". All buffs, debuffs, or effects tied to the bottom card are no longer present. So that means your raided card remains on the field.

@adagiorose6169 Yes, normally it is 50 card deck, but in this event, they wanted you to use every card you pull. It's an interesting concept for sure. I also like the idea of having no choice. Your deck is just up to the pulls entirely, haha

i'd 100% agree with buying the starter decks to try the game out... its only like $12-14 dollars.. if you cant afford that to try a game out.. your life finances are out of wack and you need a BETTA JOB.

I definitely agree, JP was like the testing ground. Also, for NA, we have exclusive events and cards, which just drives the collector market as well.

As a one piece player, I’m super intrigued by this card game and look forward to more content !
The great part about it is if you don't want to buy into every set, you don't have to. You only really need to buy a few boxes of IP you enjoy and your set to play. Love that it is great for players too that really just want a side game.
Can these tips work with the prerelease as well
Most of the tips that are not card releated can help with any game, I do plan on putting out a general tips video and set tips videos for each set here soon.

The starter decks English is not a set card? Like every one is not the same?
Nope every starter has a chance to either pull the Alt Art AP or the Alt Art SR cards seen at 0:48. I believe out of the 12 or 14 decks I opened I did not get either!
@@LemonTCG what?! That’s crazy. In one piece, the stater decks are all the same. …dunno if this is good or bad. What u think?
@@rand0mGT I like it but the numbers we saw out of Card Fest were pretty low ratios. I mainly like it because the cards just look so cool and the collector in me is just like more shiny things to get haha.

This is recorded on Tabletop Simulator on Steam. There are community mods for various TCGs for it and is relatively cheap to buy.
struggle battles and the events being annouced are fs my favorite thing coming to the game and excited to see how it all plays out in the future, i hope this game actually takes off

I actually really love this idea and it would have something like the different named ones you have on the field give you a bonus or cost reduction on another card.

The art and the textures do look really good. I believe this game will do well. Between the cards, IPs UA has, and the ease of entry for players, it should do great!
I lost both my battles 😢, but got two of the JJK APs, so I still came out good
Sometimes papa Yugi is not with you, as long as you had fun though haha. The JJK AP are I think one of my favorite AP available so far. Love the color, holo, and art. Such beauty.

The thing I was most excited about when it came to the Bandai card fest was the announcement of full metal alchemist I was surprised.
Holy crap, FMA? I'm stoked about that! Such a staple show, but man, my wallet is going to HURT... I can't wait to play the game more. To my surprise, I really enjoyed playing the Super Prerelease decks, and I'm really looking forward to playing more. I've tried a number of different card games over the years, but this one has really caught my interest (beyond the amazing IPs they are putting out). Not sure how far I'll go with the game, but maybe I'll try participating in some tournaments for a change, so I'm excited about those too!

If you raid from the energy line & you already have a full front line, do you still have to choose a character to put in the remove area, or can you swap one with the raiding character?
Good Question! When summoning a raid you are in the main phase and no longer in the move phase. This means if you choose to move the Raid character to the front line when it is full. You would first choose which character to go to the removal area, then move your Raided character.
I wonder what you would have done if he only pushed up the gon that way the kurapika became a 5k body. I would have swong with the kurapika and leorio first to pull the blockers then the 4k gon impact then The 5k last. Super close game, it’s a good thing you didn’t think the win was secured and still played out your turn
Yeah he was definitely debating that as well based on the hesitation you see. In the situation where you leave the Kurapika in the back you have a 4k Leorio (blocked by 3k Leorio), 5k Kurapika (blocked by 4k Kurapika), 4k impact Gon (blocked by 5k Hisoka), and 5k impact Raid Gon, which I take. I knew the chances were high that he would run into an Raid Gon at some point because of the AP Draw turns he was taking and we have not seen one as of yet. The only reason I played my second Hisoka to the front was to ensure I stop taking life cause I can do nothing but hope for a final if he saw Raid Gon. Going to 1 life with no raids seen is VERY dangerous in this format. We thought it was insane he hit 2 in this format back to back like that haha. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video, I plan on putting out more content like this and other gameplay formats. Maybe with some VO over it as well?!??
I'll be attending as a spectator as was unable to go to Bandai Card Fest last year. Also it is really exciting to hear that can buy packs before release alongside buy the release version of starter decks a few weeks before official release date! Hope you have a great time!!

Thank you for this runthrough! As relaized that during at l ast one of my SPRs there was definitely at least once or twice that someone hardcast Gon and still used his when played ability 😅
UPDATE!! Bandai Just announced that the Booster boxes available on the site for purchase at Card Fest Dallas was an error! These will NOT be available for purchase. I have edited out this portion of the video to avoid any confusion.
6:32 not a huge dela, but you aren't generating 5 energy when you revealed the Raid Gon from life, so you would not be able to Raid him. I didn't know how Damage 2 worked with Final so that's good to know. Thanks!
HA yes this is a good point, I was mainly focusing on just running through the triggers I forgot to set up 5 energy in the back. For the taking damage in this game if it is multiple life at once then "X" damage are revealed at the same time. I used Hisoka in this example due to it being the card people know, but this also applies if you were hit by any multi damage effects like a card that would have "Impact 2".
My pre realese is in a couple of hours and im gonna go with the Bleach deck. I cant wait to play this game. Do you know if its better to go 1st or 2nd with Bleach?
I am really liking this game as well. Sorry I missed your comment as I was at SPRs all day today as well. I hope you did well. Personally I like going 1st with bleach more so you can get to that 3 AP turn first.

So when you rest Satotz you gain the additonal energy, though once you are done with main phase and either sideline him or able to bring him back to hand, you are back to the energy in your energy line without him as his energy doesn't stay effective through the combat stage, yes?
Correct, the energy that he did generate is no longer available as he is no longer in your energy line.
If you roll dice to decide who goes first, does the winner of the dice roll have to go first or do they choose 1st or 2nd?
