Nice video 😊
You are a tough girl, you can do anything absolutely! And like your story and your funny part at the end. Really, you are a very good candidate for CF.
I would love to try it one day!
Your manager sounds like the Cringey one to me.
It certainly made we want to work on my delivery. And possibly try harder.
Ppl sick of ai crap👍👇
I thought it was pretty fun.
Thank you for taking the time to welcome me.

Glad you enjoyed it!

❤ wow ❤
This tells me nothing about the actual legality of using copyrighted imagery in AI. What A usless video
The full podcast in linked to this short. You can watch for the full conversation. It's was part of a larger conversation about making sweeping changes to applications don't always have the desired outcomes.
Great video. You came from a different perspective than most tech reviewers. In typical Apple fashion, this has a ton of accessibility features. I ran across two channels, one for the blind and another for the physically challenged that had positive opinions about the AVP. I see potential mental health benefits besides the built in meditation app. The AVP will be great helping people with ADHD stay on task. Also, be a tool psychiatrists use to gradually expose their patients to their fears or phobias while not leaving the office. I am encouraged by how hard Apple worked to help users maintain connections with the people around them. The user is always in control of the amount of immersion and VR they are in. The other is how the front is designed not for the user but the others around the user. It is designed to show them the user is engaged and can see them.
I believe the use cases for the Apple Vision Pro as well as the Meta Quest can solve many accessibility needs. The other part that I didn't talk about in the review, is the learning platform possibilities. It can help people work with amazing teachers around the world, their hands over yours. It's only a matter of time till these apps start showing up.
I found this review for accessibility uses for the blind, check it out! th-cam.com/video/wsSpH36OPcQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=B3XRPa2JOrEdpZmR
Is it worth it to purchase now a day
Depends on what you want to do with it. That is a personal choice.
nice
Thanks
Woodson for volunteering!! Great idea 💡
I like the book and tv show recommendations!
Yes! 🙌🏼 ChatGPT for brainstorming - it helps with the tedious work.
Pointing out my mistakes as a mentor and a coach resonates with me. I’m the first one to admit my own flaws and I think it helps younger designers on my team really trust me when I give them advice.
Self awareness is an important trait for leaders. Also the example of showing you are still trying to grow and learn.
Hahahah… it’s a wall that holds water.
Wow! What a cool career shift! I love how it came full circle to Laurel’s environmental studies in college.
I totally think about greenwashing… like my floss or doggy poop bags. A lot of those poop bags aren’t really biodegradable, but just the color green. 🤦🏻♀️
Really? That reminds me of a time I was printing something with China, and I wanted to use a recycled craft paper, and found out they printed on the "craft" of the paper on new white paper.
Sarah had me when she mentioned perimenopause! We need more awareness and thought behind women’s issues. ❤
💯
can you put your own character art into mid journey?
You can, but you should also put in a prompt that describes your character. It works best with one character at a time
No. AI is stealing from others.
Hey, I totally get where you’re coming from. It’s super important to respect creators and their hard work. The way I see it, AI is a tool, kind of like a paintbrush or a camera. Just like any tool, it’s all about how you use it. The goal is to use AI to spark new ideas, create something unique, and maybe push the boundaries of what’s possible. It’s not about replacing human creativity but amplifying it.
Ai is like currency, as is water, it can provide hydration and nourishment or toxicity and sicknesses
I think of AI as a tool to help you get your creative vision out into the world. It is nothing without intent from the user of the tool.
finally someone who described it properly! thank you for a great video, good luck with your story :)
Thank you! I’m working on making it a bit more kid friendly from the words, as well as a bit more consistency of characters, and then publish with what I have.
Anyone who uses chat to write a book should be ashamed of themselves. Fake! And promoting people to be lazy. There is no CREATIVITY IN IT!! Lazy lazy lazy people. Write one yourself! Lazy
Good❤❤❤
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing, your book/manuscript sounds like the anapestic meter. Mine is written anapestic meter as well. I wrote my rhymes for the first volumes however the third volume I wrote it out then placed in ChapGPT to refine it. Now I just learned about this so I will add it to the prompt.
I have also heard Google Gemini advanced is betrer at producing rhymes, but havent tryed that uet. Ive ended up editing a lot by hand after to make it closer to the story I want ro tell.
Great job! 👏🏽👍🏽
Thank you!
I have tried prompts like "multiethnic" or specifying the person's origin and have gotten results in a single attempt. But it is true. Artificial intelligence must be fed with globalized information and not biased by a select group. Love your content!! :)
I had an easier time with chatGPT/Dalle understanding in fewer prompts than midjourney. I haven't retried with v6 yet, perhaps it's time.
Full podcast interview premieres Monday 9am PST, I’ll be watching live! See you there th-cam.com/video/zE9J0MM_KLg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sMFCfzXHF4egzW0k

Hurray for origami Tessallations, best kind of Tessallation
💯 agree
Can you import your own basic picture and have MIDJOURNEY AI build upon it ?
Yes! You may have to prompt it a few time to get it into the style you like. You can also use the face swapper plug in to swap out faces in images you create. I do a quick demo in this video th-cam.com/video/9Q1MTv6GDUU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DDYHqMCHyNV4FNqi
lol! It’s the video you are commenting on. Yes, you can do that!
@@CocoyAI Gosh. I need to watch this more carefully. :) Thank you.
You can use the --iw with a number to weight the image in midjourney for how much you would like the image to influence the outcome. I don't think I mentioned that in the video.
Thank you for this. It’s very helpful 🙏
Great idea to share 🙂 I'm also involved in advent of tess 👍
I love it! It’s so much fun and challenging!
Great idea! I love it! From Adeline
It’s so much fun and frustration at the same time!
Truly an inspiration, especially for those of us who have felt othered, and want to find effective ways to tell our stories.
I think what really helped me to overcome (some) of my fear that creative pursuits are being replaced by AI was realizing that the vast majority of art is made to help us explain the human experience. Humans value humanity really highly, and I think that this will be represented in how we value artistic trades in the future. While AI can make art that imitates human art, it will never be able to express original commentary on the human experience through art the way that humans do. So while the hype around AI is really high right now, we will always value things created by humans more than things created by AI, because community is such a core value of humanity.
Thank you for your thoughtful response. I believe artists will be fine. To your point, original work is always desired higher than replication or a copy. I’m glad that will be an option, however it is difficult to make into a career that provides a living wage. I suspect it’s close to the percentage of actors that are able to make a living wage. With AGI coming, it seems like most professions will be in the same boat with a few rockstars, a slightly bigger circle that survive and make ends meet doing what the love and the vast majority have a second job or do something else entirely. I’m optimistic for what the other opportunities might be, and trying not to focus on what is already happening in industry.
my friend don't give up yet.. and teach your kids math and physics concepts ❤
Thank you
Totally feeling what you're feeling. Been wondering about what the purpose would be after AGI, too. Don't have an answer yet, but stay strong
New opportunities will arise. I’m choosing to be optimistic, but hard to shake the feeling. Focusing on the present and taking the next best step is my plan for now.
Thanks for this insight on new wave of AI
Thanks for watching!
I think lower case letters are faster to read than all caps when flashing on screen.
Love it - what a fab little story and wonderful tale of taking risks and learning.
Thanks for checking it out!
Great video and summary of your thoughts! I whole heartedly believe we're at an inflection point of our society. I foresee multiple huge advancements/changes in our near future in the realm of everything from medicine and life expectancy to social life and even our perspective on how we're to exist on this planet. It has all really only just begun and you're completely right when you said that this tech is as bad right now as it's ever going to be! What awaits us are many possible magnificent, wonderous futures and many possible disastrous, terrifying futures. Only God truly knows what Earth and it's inhabitants will be like in 50 - 100 years. That's why I put my faith the Almighty One and Jesus!
Thank you for sharing. I felt more comfortable talking about things in terms of 50 years from now. I believe everything will shift in the next 3-5 years, which for some reason is unsettling. I’ll keep sharing my experiences, hope you will join the conversation.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this, I'm doing a similar journey as system developer and are feeling the same excitement and fear.
Every field is changing with GAI, it feels like now is the time to imagine the possibilities of how it will turn out. I’m still hopeful that it is still human + AI that wins the day and not just AI and no human.
I used ChatGPT with voice in/out a couple of weeks ago and was blown away. The AI voice is incredibly natural. It was the first time the tech was been packaged in a way that approached the movie Her.
Yeah! Totally. It takes a little while to process, but it’s really natural sounding. The responses seem better than typing out conversations, but they are hitting the same place so I’m not sure why it’s better or if I perceive it as better because of the voice.
Also you’re right that’s a good comparisons I’m going to update the thimbnail
Thank you for sharing your journey. I feel like you've captured what's in my own heart. Even though we work in different creative industries we seem to be grappling with the same dynamics. I'm exc to hear the next update.
Thank you. I believe AI will impact every industry, but it appears to be targeting the creative first fortunately or unfortunately.
