Yes, so many good points in this analysis, I agree, I've learnt so much now that I'm in my late 30s, looking back to the relationship that I had in my 20s, I can see a lot of similarities, aside from the cheating, cheating was not on my part, and how Carrie was with her friends, I couldn't be like that to my friends, and with the smoking and the drinking, I don't drink or smoke, but looking at the relationship that Carrie had with Big, I can definitely see similarities with me and my ex, I was 22 when we met, he was 38, we were an interracial relationship, which added to our issues, we were on and off for 9 and a half years, I put up with so much stuff, when I was with my ex, looking back, it was so unacceptable, the way he was with me, it wasn't right, now, if I ever was to get involved with someone again, I wouldn't put up with the same treatment, there's no way, I feel like I've got the strength now to stick up for myself, I've been single all these years, since we broke up, and it's okay, I'm okay with that, I'm trying to rebuild myself now, the stress, the strain, it took it's toll on me, the emotions, all of that, I feel and believe contributed to me falling unwell, and developing a rare medical condition/illness, which I believe was due to things that happened from my previous relationship with my 2nd ex, the father to my youngest child, also his 2nd child, but, I'm in a much better place now, it's good, I can see now, I can recognise now, that not being in the mess that we were in, and with the on and off, things really are better now, it still hurts, I'm still heartbroken, but being in what we had going on, ultimately was not good, and it wasn't healthy, no one should be in that kind of relationship, sometimes it's better to be single 🌸

Mr Big is a narcissistic man and he married Natasha for her status, her youth but as soon as he got her he got also annoyed, just like narcissists do all the time.
