Wish you could of shown the back too
Does anyone know what voltage the original rear camera of the 2019 tacoma works with? I also need to know the function by cable colors for your original harness. Thank you
What’s that connector called?
pretty useless video unless you into percussion...
How did you hookup the wires down to the front? What year of truck is this?
It’s wireless so no need to hook up the camera to the monitor.
Just finished this project. If those are the correct OEM threaded inserts, they have to be crimped after inserting into the holes and before inserting the mounting screw. By just placing into the hole, there is nothing to keep them from spinning in the hole and pulling out. Also, as the spoiler sandwiches the tailgate, 3M double sided tape keeps the inside of bed portion secure to the tailgate.
How do you crimp them?
@@jasondisenso I borrowed a tool that resembles a pop rivet gun. It threads into the nutsert, then the handle gets squeezed which mushrooms the end of the nutsert that was inserted into the tailgate. Look up nutsert tool and you’ll see what I’m referring to.
Thanks, Jeff. Check out the following video where you can make the tool for $3 at the hardware store. It works! Just finished doing it. th-cam.com/video/cel7FllhxJM/w-d-xo.html
Useless video, learned nothing.
Do the tabs come on the pad? Mine have come off can I get them seperate?
You didn’t rivet them in? Or you just stuck it in there?
Can you remove without removing the whole works?
Yes watch the TRQ video. Lot like this one but with step by step guidance
How did it the holes??
The holes already there from Factory
Where did you get that? I’m lookin for one for my 99 Chevy Silverado
Ebay 26.00 bucks
Hey where can I buy it at? Thanks
Did you ever find one?
