This journey as all about authentically showing what volunteering in Costa Rica and experiencing Tico life is actually like. Nestled in the lush landscapes of Limon and near the stunning Puerto Viejo and Punta Mona, I share my experiences living a sustainable life while immersing myself in the local culture. I’ll take you through daily life on the homestead, the beauty of heart-centered living, and how living with a Tico family has enriched my understanding of this incredible country, but also life in general.
Whether you’re curious about where to travel in Costa Rica's Caribbean coast or looking for tips on learning Spanish in Costa Rica, I’ll provide insights that will inspire your own adventures. We’ll pass through Sixaola, located near the Panama border, and how it connects to the broader experience of life in this beautiful region.

In 2022 I left my government job to have a gap year in my 20's... now I'm documenting the process of finding myself over 7 months of backpacking. Who will I be at the end of it all and what will I learn? Even I don't know yet... this is the story of a life unfolding.
