Nice run man! I couldn't imagine what a big block would do in this light car.

Remember one of those cars back in the day down in Tennessee running on a small drag strip reminded me of a large rat ,the guy would actually make the car jump and when he finally took off down the track he didn't shut down soon enough and ended up out in someone's corn field so funny but extremely fast was that vega!!!

I see a few safety issues that I question being a former driver !!! 1st 2 things I see is no window net which is required with a cage !!! #2 do my eyes deceive me or is he wearing a t-shirt ??? I thought I saw a 10.55 on the board which would mean he requires a 1 layer fire retardant race jacket and long pants for that ET !!!! What kind of nickel and dime track is that to where the safety rules don't count ??? I see this more and more on a variety of videos lately !!! They can't be NHRA member tracks because they would never last long pulling a stupid move like that !!! I ran 20+ years and you couldn't sniff the track without getting thru tech and that's the way it should be !!! Seen many independent places let guys slide which made me glad I only watched at those tracks !!! I despise street racers because they give the guys who do it right a bad name !!! On the news calling it drag racing is a slap in the face to us guys who care about doing it by the book !!!! Safety 1st and foremost !!!!! They are now confiscating illegal street racing vehicles and crushing them !!!!! Destroying a car because the owner is a duschbag !!! Typical brain dead authorities !!!! Let's not fix it just destroy it !!!!! I have NO use for these street asses !!! Take their driving privileges away FOREVER but why destroy a perfectly fine car ??? Long live ORGANIZED legal drag racing at a dragstrip near you !!!!! Be careful you idiot street punks many a times at Atco Raceway after running on the track they leave tear out leaving the track and the cops are sitting there waiting for the morons !!!! Just amazes me the stupidity of the young who just refuse to learn anything !!!! Double thumbs up to the guys who do it right !!!! Be smart and DON'T be a brain dead RETARD !!!!!!

Did you have to alternate the engine compartment/steering linkage clearances for the 400 oil pan? I have a 73 Vega and I am wanting to use a 400 block.
