Peles Castle is located in the Muntenia region, the royal city of Sinaia, Prahova county, not in the Transylvania region. Transylvania begins with Brașov county.

Yes! I loved that place.
Wifey was relieved of her brand new long focus compact camera six days after it was bought, in Dec 2019. She was robbed of her cellphone a year later. Both instances around the Grand Parade. There were also three attempts to rob her on Greenmarket Square, Golden Acre and on Long Street. I escaped a few robberies. A former mayor suggested I take out my smartphone and call Law Enforcement at Sea Point Pools while being robbed on Long Street. Smart mayor that was. Left for good, I'm told.
Man, it sounds like it’s getting worse. And such a shame, I love that city!

We Spent Christmas in BUDAPEST (Here's What Happened) -You didn't got attacked by anyone, and didn't had to be a victim of a terrorist attack.... like in germany england or france.
Thankful for that, no doubt 🙏 I like how safe Hungary is and that's always a factor I'm evaluating when deciding travel plans.
I hope you enjoy the city, but what are you just a small pieces of the city and the country like the Elisabeth Lookout on the Buda Hills, the Tihanys abbey in lake Balaton, bazalt organ's in mount St. George, lake cave in Tapolca ect,ect.. many nice place..
Thank you for the great list! I totally agree, this video unfortunately only shows a small portion of the city (and the country) but there are so many nice places we left out, and even more that we couldn't visit this time. More reason and motivation to go back before long!

It's unfortunate I didn't add more to the video. I totally agree - there is so much to see outside the main parts of the city (and in the surrounding areas). 🙂 I only wish I had more time, and next time my plan is to see smaller towns and drive around more of the country. I'm fully motivated to go visit again when it's not so cold!
@@flaneurlife but if it possible not at summer.. Maybe the spring is the best.... Summer became unbearable too hot in the last 5-10 years for sigthseeing... unless if you want spend beach time in Balaton or Tisza-tó.. (one hungarian)

One of my best vacations was going to Scotland. We rented a car and got out of the major cities and just drove around the country. I am going to Budapest in January and you just reminded to get more cold weather gear. It looks a pretty cold.
Good call to do that, I was unprepared myself and it was colder than I imagined. Totally with you on the road trips and random exploration outside of the big cities - some of my best memories as well. Enjoy Budapest!

No, a local guide said they were not. They live nearby, and just ask for money from passersby/tourists. Definitley not well off, but not homeless fortunately.

Finally some real content about Romania beyond just Dracula myths.
As someone who recently quit their job to travel, that line about the unknown being an invitation rather than a threat really hit home. Watching this from a hostel in Thailand and feeling a lot less anxious about my choice. Perfect timing 🙏
