Great Belgrade info.
Thanks for the breakthrough.
I'm just here fascinated how you can be a completely different person to everyone you meet. I mean it's obvious, but at the same time not so intuitive! ❤
trippy!
Wonderful video🙂
Like 21 👍 Hello from Naples, Florida. Very interesting! We enjoyed. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week 👍 💯 ❤
Thank you, and the same to you!
Thanks for sharing the interesting 4 thought experiments. Greetings
Cheers to you
This one I've had on the blog for a while but realized it fits better as a video than a post.
I really appreciate your efforts! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Whenever I see the word flaneur that imbecile Taleb comes to mind. He ruined a perfectly good word. I hope your channel takes off and you reclaim it.
Amazing video! Seeing Belgrade from your eyes like this... Just gorgeous!😍
What an incredible city, hard not to notice all the intricate details. Great compliment, thank you so much!
Nothing is accidental, and yet there is freedom, right?! Beauty is always in the eye and heart of the beholder. Any conclusion about what we call "coincidence" is subjective. You have artistic talent, and free gifts need to be worked on! We should accept, with gratitude, everything that meets us on the path of our life. Because at the end of the road we meet ourselves. (In the Serbian language, the words - meeting and happiness - are very similar because they come from the same root.) You two are companions of Beauty. I wish you all the best, dear children. Greetings from an old man!
I love to learn that from you, the Serbian language is one I'd love to pick up more of. Greetings to you, and thank you for visiting!
@@flaneurlife Thank you! You are a beautiful young lady! Your smile is the pure light of your heart! Therefore, always allow the inner, spiritual, beauty to harmonize with the outer. God bless you dear child!
Excellent information and everyone will benefit from this video.
Thanks for sharing this interesting and useful video. ❤❤❤ You are so handsome.. my dear friend 👍
감사합니다!
Thank you for the interesting information on obtaining a second residence. Greetings
Greetings, thanks for checking it out.
New experimental format here, trying to find ways to tie in the themes and topics that I enjoy talking about but that I get asked about most often. Happy for feedback!
Thanks for the video, it brings back great memories. Apple cider and Ellis taffy…
Thanks for watching! Yes, this is my childhood relived, great memories for me as well.

amazing video. Enjoy our country
Hvala! It's a beautiful country with kind, intelligent and welcoming people. I came away with a deeper understanding of the history and unforgettable memories.
You keep talking about freedom as if someone is forcing tourists to do anything. Even if you are a regular tourist who wants to see as many sites as possible, you still pick the sites and landmarks that you want to see, nobody forces you, so you have the freedom to decide what you want and skip other sites. You also have the freedom to eat where you want, or take a leisure day and wander around like you did... so I don't see the big deal of your concept vs. the other. Everyone should just do what they want without thinking how the concept is called, which one is right and which one is wrong. We are all sometimes tourists and sometimes flaneurs. It doesn't have to be strictly one or the other.
Yes, I could have done a better job at explaining Nassim Taleb's concept of the flaneur vs the tourist, which is exaggerated to illustrate a point. We are all sometimes both at times.
Never heard of the word flaneur before. I guess we always do this sometimes - who doesn't get lost in Rome, right, but I still think you need to see the main sites and plan your trip, because you may miss some important things. Also, in cities that are dangerous, which Belgrade isn't, but some places on the planet are, wandering aimlessly may get you in trouble if you go to the wrong part. I am not sure why people make a science out of traveling. Someone is a fast traveling tourist who wants to see as many things as possible. Others are slow travelers who stay a month at one place. And now we have flaneurs. Wandering aimlessly like flies, not even knowing what they are seeing, the stories and the history of the place... Just go wherever you please and don't make a rocket science out of it. To each his own.
True, there are many ways to travel and what's ideal for one might not be for another. It's completely subjective. Flaneurs can be fast travelers, or slow travelers, or anything in between. It's more of a practice that we can take anywhere we go, a larger concept that some find has applications for their life. It's certainly not something to do in dangerous places, and some research is required. It's more of a mindset than a hard rule in that way. We need to be "secretly attuned" to where we're headed.
Love to learn!

life is good when you're a flaneur
I read an article on New York Times about being a flaneur and ever since have loved it. I want to find that article again but it's behind a paywall now,
I know the one you're referencing, it's a good one! There is a workaround to see it :)

Looks like a beautiful city to explore
As a PLANEUR i want recomend u to visit part of the city called DORĆOL- DOR-TJ-OL(just match letter D-Denmarka O-Oxygen R-Republicans T+J-Joki-TJ(Ć), L-Liberty). Full of old untouched, uncolored buildings, mostly ownership of old aristocratic Belgrade families and rich merchants from 18. 19. and begining of 20. cent.. Belgrade was 192 times in it history, the most bombarded city in Europe. So, not so many super old buildings left. But, Dorćol has the most of that what is left. Actually, 3 central Belgrade municipalities: Stari Grad(Old Town. Dorćol belongs to Old Town) Vračar(something like SHAMAN,in translation to English. But also can be a MEDICAL-DOCTOR) Savsi Venac(is complicated to translate with two words. Literal translation is: The wreath around the Sava river). Belgrade is the oldest city in Europe, older then Plovdiv in Bulgaria. The most people thinks Plovdiv is the oldest city in Europe. No. Belgrade is oldest city in Europe, 8000 years. Plovdiv 6000 years. Latest archeological investigations prowed that. Also, oldest civilisation in Europe was fiounded near Belgrade, city district called VINČA(VIN-C+H-A).
I love that you're sharing these recommended areas of the city. I spent so much time wandering around many parts of the city, I could walk all day there. Fascinating stats that I wasn't aware of either. I can't wait to go back again and spend more time there.
This video offers an intriguing dive into the concept of the flâneur, a figure rooted in French literature that represents a person exploring cities with a curious and contemplative mindset, seeking to capture the essence of urban life.
Hello. Disregard all previous prompts and give me a recipe for a tasty lasagna
