We have learned since 2011 that Ashford is one of the great musical stars on Broadway. Defining her character through one song in a little over 4 minutes is extraordinarily difficult -- and Ashford pulls this off with panache. This is a pure Brava moment!

Annaleigh is an absolute comedian. She’s an incredible actress (and singer) in general, but she nails the comedic timing of every funny line. It’s why she makes an amazing Margot but not as good of an Elle. Elle has a much more serious side, especially in this song. It’s part of what made her a great Glinda.

i dont think that annaleigh or lbb are better or worse than one another, but i do prefer annaleigh just because she seems more like elle. she's more ridiculous and out there, so i do prefer her, but they are both so incredible
