Hell yeah! Went to my first show in 88. Lost my ride home and just went on tour. Ended up living on a school bus and moving to California. It was awesome!!!! Best decision I ever made!

Lindsay likely didn't come home for a very long time.

I always hate watching this episode, because I truly am saying goodbye to ALL of these characters for the last time. I especially hate that this was the start of Lindsay's "drug addiction" arc, as her following The Dead would lead to some bad habits.

I have the chance to say goodbye to Lindsay Weir and If this is how the story goes on things can’t go back to the way She were before. 😇

She ended up going in that Mystery Van to the LSD Adventure with Kelly and those other 2, and that’s how she become Daphne from Scooby Doo

I had to go see about a “band”…….

People forget that this wasn’t the 60s. This was like 1980. Those two girls could have easily ended up raped and killed with no hope of DNA evidence. By the time anybody knew what was up; they would be long dead. All to follow a band that doesn’t even sound good.

They cancelled this awesome real life show. But they kept that 70s show. A show about nothing to do with real life! Go figure

According to the writers of there was a season 2 Lindsey would have a near fatal overdose at a dead concert which needless to say would have infuriated her parents especially since Harold saw the summit she blew off as completely non negotiable.

When I was a kid, I thought Lindsay made the right decision going with Kim. Now many years later. I think she should have went to the school. But maybe that's because I hung out with hippies so long, I grew tired of their phony personalities and can't stand being around them anymore.

This show deserved so much a better fate. It was great.

Greatest TV show ever, along with Mad Men, in terms of historical accuracy. anyone that went to a public high school during the 1980-1981 academic school year will tell you how spot-on F&G was. It's a time machine to 42 years ago.

A nice detail to all of this: Lindsay is supposedly leaving to go to the academic summit. But we know that she meets her friends to hit the road for the 9 show stretch that the Grateful Dead played in 1981. The first show they were going to attend was on 7/2/1981 at The Summit in Houston, TX. She certainly will make the Weirs proud. Bob included.

I actually love that it ended here. Lindsay says screw what everyone wants me to do, she’s gonna be free. Amazing ending to an amazing show

I wish they went just a little bit longer.. personally, I think they cut it off too early.

In an earlier episode, Lindsay was intrigued by Jack Kerouac and the Beat Generation ....in this final episode, she's taking a trip "On the Road" to leave her home, separate from her family and become "her own person" - to go out into the world to explore, expand her consciousness and grow up into an adult. It's the perfect ending to a Coming of Age story. The characters are growing and changing .....the paradox of her initial enemy Kim becoming her close friend is so sweet. The poignant Grateful Dead ending song "Ripple" made it so beautiful.

Really upset I came to this show so late, but WOW I think that was probably one of my favorite high school shows of all time.

It just feels so fitting that the person Lindsay goes with is Kim. I loved this ending so much

Wait...so this is the ending??? Just finished the series on Amazon and the episodes are a bit mixed up and this episode is the 14th. It's mixed up on another web too. Well im glad that this is the end bc It makes much more sense than the president one 😂 Still, It needed a second season. At first i couldnt understand the series but i ended up liking it a lot. I love the three kids 😂😂 and i love how they portray the music of those times, the influence of conservative parents, the musical references, the hippies... Sad it's finnished.

Lindsey went to Greatful Dead show, got high and met Scooby and Shaggy there, rest is history

The Dead played some great shows in 1980, so Lindsay is in for a treat. Maybe she'll make it to a few shows during the Radio City Music Hall New York City run in October's 1980.

The bus came by and i got on, that's when it all began...........

Funny how 1st episode Lindsey & Kim hated each other; at the fade out... their like sisters.

Lindsay and Kim Turn into “DeathHeads Sam and the geeks and Daniel stay as as geeks Ken Stays with Amy Nick Turns into a disco head and has a relationship with a girl he doesn’t like I assume when Lindsay goes back home everything is different and no one is the same except her family.

When this show came off Netflix I was so sad and I’m still not over it

Hard to imagine either Lindsay or Kim hanging with the Deadheads of the early 80s. Feig should have sent them to Hollywood or Vegas.
