PennTESOL East is a not-for-profit organization whose purposes are:
To promote the professional development of the teacher of ESOL
To strengthen, at all levels, instruction and research in ESOL
To collect and disseminate useful information about the teaching ESOL and about new developments in the field
To establish national contacts through affiliation with TESOL, Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages
To provide opportunities for sharing information, group study, and discussion of problems confronting ESOL teachers
This Association is organized exclusively for educational purposes, including the making of distributions to an organization that qualifies as exempt under Section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law).
