The moment ex- Mayor Jan Jones put that canopy over Fremont street, it became a zoo. The last 15 years it's low life's and grifters. Ppeople still take their children down there to have pictures taken with sex offenders and grifters. If they would tear down that canopy and let people drive it again and get back to the old vegas not the new tech money vegas things would be better off

Born and raised in Vegas - lived in New Mexico, Texas and Utah for about a year each and then came back home. Crime is no different in those states than here. I love this city. You guys think this whole city is sin city? It’s full of people who do good for others and the community. Stop talking crap.

I’ve lived in the Vegas area for over 30 years. A lot has changed. It’s still safe as long as you don’t wander into a seedy area.

I live on Las Vegas. This town is so crime ridden. I never have gone to Fremont and never will. This place is a hell hole but especially there.

I am currently in Vegas and all I can say is it's a damn shame how this buffet has gone down. I am absolutely disappointed I. How small this buffet is now. It's truly disheartening. Shame on MGM

Last year I was waiting on a red light at approximately 7 pm on a Saturday night on 7th and fremont traveling northbound, when i hear some guy say "pop that fool" i turned to look over to my right side, two shots ring out and see a guy get shot in the chest. He immediately drops in the middle of fremont steet, gets back up again and stumbles into the side walk and collapses, everyone ran and scattered in a matter of seconds including children.

It's a small number of people that mess everything up for us, as we can see they are gone the Fremont closed all them people that come from out of town to enjoy themselves on there vacation and it's hard to take pictures of the Fremont when it's closed. Thanks Dummies 😂
