The New Atlas Records

The New Atlas Records is a small, independent record label based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The label was created by head artist, The New Atlas in February of 2020 under the name of #2 Records. The label was renamed to “The New Atlas Records” in March of 2021. The label has two artists, Afterglow & The New Atlas, but the label is always looking to expand*. Both artists' music has amassed almost 2,000 views collectively, and even more streams. Both artists produce a wide variety of beats, ranging from hard hitting rock tracks, hard trap and hip-hop beats that are heavy on bass and 808s to even folk songs and lo-fi vibes.
All music on this channel is owned by the respective artist and is not to be used unless the artist gives explicit permission, anything using either artists without their permission will result in some sort of consequence.

This song is for The New Atlas' upcoming album but it somehow sneaked its way onto Afterglow's mixtape, by the true definition of a mixtape though it works, because a mixtape is like a collection of your own songs + other people's songs. Let's just say that this song is "unofficially" released for the time being because the plan was never for this song to be on Afterglow's mixtape until last minute

Our first new banger (of many) since we got our TH-cam up to date! Drowning is the fourth and final single off of Afterglow's upcoming mixtape, "This Town". The mixtape was expected to be released in January 2022 but was delayed and is now slated for release by the end of July 2022. It features 12 songs + 1 bonus track and the album will be available on Soundcloud, TH-cam, and the New Atlas Records website.
