​@@dankuser8303 as you said mc80/x-wing go brrr rebel tactics relied on fighters to a ridiculous and clearly flawed degree instead of the pure firepower of their main fleet body anyone with half a brain could then see how easily counterable rebels were in a battle, which is why thrawn sought to use the empire's superior resources to develop a better fighter that could overcome the x wing, and also why he heavily modified his own personal flagship to have more of an edge against fighters of course the other 99.9% of the empire just casually fails to see this, which is why I also say thrawn is only really a genius by comparison to the incompetent fools surrounding him I don't know about you but I consider a faction winning based not on their own merit but the utter lack of logic employed by the enemy in a story to be plot armor, seeing as they're are a million better ways to go down that route
