My Bluetti is a 2400 watt Powerstation but I also bring expansion batteries with me. I did not run it on turbo all night. This is a power hungry ac. I just got the new ZeroBreeze MK3 that is a 5k btu. I would hold off from purchasing a BougeRV and watch my review on the ZeroBreeze in the next few weeks. The BougeRV does have a thermostat. The tent did get cooler but the afternoon temps did cool down outside as well.

That rest will be coming up Thanksgiving weekend in the camper

I agree, mini LFP batteries are perfect for smaller campers and rigs!

Thats one thing it was brought up to Bluetti, you could throw a breaker right there at the battery terminal

This is an option so when your driving to and from a location you can top off or charge your system. I only use this option to top off if I dont use my solar panels.

@@89crix The inverter runs off the house batteries, the DC to DC unit charges those batteries that allows you to use the inverter ...

Would be cheaper but it depends on your application. My Powerstations are 2400watts and are large for my long dispersed trips

You make a great point, most overland rigs have larger alternators. My alternator is a 160amp so I don't have a problem but this would be an alternative, at camp I still use my solar panels. This charger allows you to adjust the voltage based on your powerstations, thats what I like about it.

Get a bigger alternator ... Probably your best bet as they're not very expensive. You'll have a more robust system with a 220 amp alternator if available for your make and model ...

@@roberts.1400 Thats great advice Robert, when I use mine, I don't see any significant power loss, that would go for the same for my buddies who use the Red Arc systems as well.

I am running a 240 amp alternator in my Jeep Gladiator. Absolutely zero strain on the alternator, engine, etc. when using the Charge1. It's been fantastic.

There is no strain on the alternators with this at all

Yes it can but not all at once. Its 1800 watts so you have to know what your limit is

Oh, I apologize for not showing that. It’s just a standard plug that goes into a 110 outlet. Mine came with the cord to charge it

@@GumbieGear That's ok. I wrote to VTOMAN and they just recommend using a Type-C cable to charge it... which will take forever... mine is marked OUT so i guess that i will stick with the manufacturer's advice. Other than that, Thank you for the great review, you explained a lot about it.

There are two modes, push and hold the button down until you hear the beep for heating mode. For non heating mode push the button twice.

@@GumbieGear believe me, I tried that. I pressed down, heard the beep for heating mode, and heard it making a grumbling sound as if it was heating. But nothing heated up. I’ve done it multiple times. Spent hours trying to get it to work, but nothing happens. No heat.

@@GumbieGear I don’t know if I got a lemon or I’m doing something wrong. If the problem is me, I can’t figure out what.

@adamfuller3296 okay, it takes like 3-4 mins and you have to let those led light go all the way across. Did you charge your unit fully first?

@adamfuller3296 try this first before you send it back 1. Charge unit fully 2. Press power button and hold to beep 3. LED lights will start to go light up one at a time 4. Takes about 3-4 mins before it starts to make hot fluid If none of that works then I would call customer service

Did you get it from Amazon? I’m trying to figure out if it actually goes 20 mph, as it says on Amazon. I keep seeing reviews that say it only goes up to 15mph.
