GT World Challenge Europe - Misano Qualifying Onboard
First time driving Misano in the dark was during this Qualifying session. You lose some of your points of reference and so it wasn't easy to put together a clean lap with only 10 minutes available. Nevertheless this lap was good enough for Bronze Cup Pole Position.

First time back to Zhuhai after 15 years! With 850 horsepower on tap, the circuit suddenly feels a lot smaller and bumpier than I remember driving a Group N Honda Integra DC5 😂 Had a single run on new tires and as you can see I made some mistakes, otherwise a 1’29 would be within reach which puts the Pagani Huayra R bang into LMP2 / GT1 territory without any setup changes. #Pagani #Huayra #HuayraR

A scruffy lap with the Pagani Huayra R around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on used tires in the afternoon heat. For reference, fastest lap in a GT3 during the weekend in Qualifying was a 1'39.0 in cooler conditions and 1'41.3 in the race.

This was my lap during Q2 with the circuit wet in most places but gradually drying out towards the end of session in the final sector. Pleasantly surprised to set the fastest time of all McLarens in the session given I had not driven the car in wet conditions during the entire weekend. #McLaren #720S #GT3 #Evo

Dayum. Those brakes slowed the car down so quickly into turn 1. With new tires and qualifying conditions, I'm sure pagani would put down a considerably faster time.
Remember Jeremy Clarkson saying the zonda r could slowdown form 200kph to 0 in 4 seconds so I expected no less from this
@@lovelehstuff Indeed, but this car is significant step further. The car dropped from 310kph to 200kph in 1.26, which is nearly 2.5g deceleration. Normally you'd need a LMP car to do that.

@@lovelehstuff well, downforce does increase to the square of velocity. At over 300kph, I'm sure the car produces well over a ton of downforce.

Genuine question, why is his steering all over the place ?
Its the same like in racecars such as gt3 cars or even F1. If you‘re losing grip in every 4 wheels but just for tenths of seconds, you try to correct. The same moment you correct the car has slight grip again and your steering is still in correction, so you counter steer into the grip while the car is losing grip again. All happens again and again and again within 1 or 2 seconds. Its pretty normal when track is dump
Easy answer, its a wet track. Unless you want yourself to slam onto a wall better do corrections.
The onboard sound is like I feel like I'm racing in WEC
