Love this!

This man ran out my patience for BS. He's running a non-stop hate whitey seminar and as a whitey, I'm beyond sick of this guilt trip. The reason his people have no history is because they chose not to share it. They kept it to themselves in the minds of a handful of tribal elders who then died before they passed it on and they took that knowledge and culture with them. It was because they were angry, resentful, xenophobic, and antagonistic that they didn't share their culture and as a result, no one knows it today, except the tiny fragments that are left. That's not whitey's fault. That's his own angry, resentful people's fault. I'm perfectly happy to support native people, native foods, and a sharing of culture, but if he's going to serve it up with this kind of attitude, he can shove off back to the res.
Chef Sean is an amazing person with boundless energy. Who would have a thought a chef would be the leader of the next revolution in native history. May God bless him in every way. 🙏
Yay loved this talk
Shame she didn't talk about nutrition
Leaning about you in my University course. I am Mexican (unrecognized Natives). I appreciate you being the face and voice for everything you stand for.

This is an incredible wealth of knowledge! Thank you so much for sharing.
I can't wait to be there next year!
Your video is very good but there are no more views and no more subscribers are coming. Because your channel is not customized and videos don't have proper Title.
This all looks delicious and healthy. Love it.😊
But then pharma won't have a market for their diabetes, blood pressure, and statin drugs in the reservations...
As a vegan I appreciate Sean's recipes because they illustrate how the plants around us have so much to offer and how to incorporate unique flavors😊
Thank you for your work! I cried. I hope Native Americans can heal, connect with their roots and get more rights.

Wow! Thank you so much for what you do. And for educating others on more than I can put into words. Myself included. ❤️
About the "education system" that the Hopi elder talks about: Many people don't even think that the "education system" not only colonizes and changes indigenous people. A similar process happens in many parts of Europe as well. And it is more dramatic because we don't have elders to guide us. I'm from Spain and I didn't grow up inside of an indigenous culture but I was also indoctrinated in many wrong things by the school system. As an adult I started to realize that many things I have been coerced to "study" (memorize) were plain lies. We also were punished for talking or laughing in the classroom. Many teachers were very cruel. What I want to say is that is important to remember that non-indigenous children don't choose to go to school. We didn't chose to be indoctrinated in a culture of "development" and hatred towards wild nature. We didn't choose to get indoctrinated with "science", with materialism or inanimism. We were forced to it and many of us never surrendered. In fact, I'm into these things about indigenous cultures because I feel lost. The "education" I received was wrong and I don't know how or from whom can I get the right one. I'm upset at modern medicine because it is money-oriented and it didn't cure my chronic health problems. I feel living inside a psychopathic culture where you go to the doctor and you are treated like a number, and I don't identify with it. I'm testing a lot of different diets and supplements to see if my chronic health problems improve but I have no guidance. I didn't chose this. At the end of the day it doesn't matter whether you are a Native American, black, white, indigenous, non-indigenous, man or woman. This culture is toxic and dehumanizing. If you are a non-psychopathic human being you are going to suffer inside it. As children we are all human. We are all colonized, dehumanized and traumatized to one degree or another by the modern schooling system. We are left confused and, in thr case of non-indigenous people, without roots. Where can I get indigenous knowledge about the fauna and flora from Spain? It is lost. We only have here darwinian cold "scientific" materialistic interpretations of nature. And if like me you want alternatives there are not. Because there are not indigenous elders here. By the way, I didn't like the use of the word "ally". I read and research a lot about Native Americans and other indigenous cultures from the world because I find them very interesting and I see them as the true enemy of this system. I am in their side. But to call me an "ally" would be hierarchical. I would be considered "lower" because I'm not indigenous myself. And that, I don't like. It is like when the feminists look at men who think like themselves as "allies", just because they are not women. It is discrimination.
I'm so grateful for Sean Sherman's work. It's so funny that he mentioned Spanish, because it would be interesting if Mr. Sherman could work with José Andres, who also does a lot of work to bring nutrition and meals to those struck by disasters through World Central Kitchens, to funnel support to local peoples on the ground ensuring their communities are nourished. It would be a weird collaboration for sure, given Spain's history of colonization and treatment of indigenous peoples, but maybe with Sean's experience with Spanish recipes, it could be in interesting, I dunno, book or podcast, the proceeds of which could be donated to tribal community nutrition programs or disaster relief. They could recommend ways to deal with invasive species, like Asian carp, or something like that. Given our future might be turning to insects to be a part of our diet, Sean's probably got a lot of knowledge of how to nourish using that food chain, perhaps José too.
Sounds like you should work with one of them. ❤
We’re we really gunna read all this 😂😂😂😂
The greatest gift the white Man gave the NDN Ppl, was the knowledge of our Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus and what He did for us. America will always belong to the Native Americans.
I’d love to taste you delicious food! I’m in Arizona. L will you be back here soon? I’m in between Phoenix & Tucson. I have a beautiful friend who is also from your Indian tribe and has those same beautiful blue eyes.

The essential issue is birth right theft, which is land theft…yet, how many “conscious”moors have a personal relationship with the land? How often are “conscious”moors practicing nature immersion, composting, gardening, or farming?
