Ponteland Golf Club rolling greens

20/11/2013 First attempt at recording work carried out by greens staff at PGC using go-pro hero 3 Single roll with no cut.
Such great work. We have a mile of this to put in, prior to sod being placed, so a lot easier. But you really were clean on this work.
Can you tell me were the water goes when it goes in pipe and to me the stone you are back filling is to fine a more course stone would be better as it has more space between pieces to allow more water to flow?
The pipe always leads to a positive outlet, such as a stream or open ditch. The backfill material is tested by the USGA (United States Golf Association) for infiltration rates and compatibility to reduce material migration. A coarse stone with more pore space, such as pea gravel, could also lead to migration of the above root zone. This would result in a reduction in the useful lifespan of the drain. There are many different materials used for backfill; they are dictated by the required performance of the drain, so one size does not fit all.
What is the square footage able to be completed per hour in a golf scenario?
Where's Jake?
Cheers for that Richard something to keep in mind for the next one.
Great way of showing off the course. Even better on a sunny day. Suggest you include a link to your website in the video & the description. Here it is anyway www.thepontelandgolfclub.co.uk
Jake seems to be enjoying himself!
When the HG mentions those 3 magic words 'job and finish' productivity goes through the roof so yes we had to slow the footage down for the human eye.
Looks like the video is slowed down!
Love the video!
