Nice to see a Lego fan who is also a Newcastle United fan too! I miss the Lego store at Metrocentre Newcastle. Super friendly staff, good selection of bricks on the PAB wall. I was there in October 2022.

Never been to any of these corporate shows, so this was an interesting video. Tend to go to shows run by AFOL groups, less marketplace and more models. Got one coming up in Shildon if you'd like to make a comparison video (free entry so you got nothing to lose ^_^)

Great video and nice 1st August haul - I love the mini rocket gift-with-purchase. You had great audio in the Metro Centre (it didn’t seem to pick up much background noise) and I saw a little square on your T-shirt… was that a mic? Do you mind if I ask what make/model it is?

That's interesting. I would have thought that putting another full flat sheet (plate?) down on top would have made more sense and would have been more sturdy, but didn't think about placing lights and such underneath. I guess you could also get some smaller plates (or cut a hole in a plate? Is that blasphemy?) for lighting as well

Not a great parcel experience 😢... Hope you've complained to DPD customer service aswell. Shame lego didn't create a priority order, but I have to say that I've always liked their customer service, especially over parts which have been missing. Great to have the extra Insider points though, bonus. Just shocking how your delivery turned up in the first place. Love how you've got the track looking, great idea. Brilliant tips and a great video to watch, so extremely helpful. Hope your both keeping well 🫶.

I do use a company for display cases and stands called "Wicked Brick" they are not cheap but At the end of the day you get what you pay for, the cases and stands I have bought have been really impressive quality, and have really set certain sets off for display, but not really needed if your building a city, but I do recommend the company, think you also get a discount code when you sign up towards your first order. Nice PAB and BAM Collection. Look forward to the lego store build. Take care and really positive how your channel is growing.

This is a beautiful set, I've got this one myself and was so much fun to build, this will look awesome in your city, a place for all the minifigs to eat.

So jealous you are setting up a lego city... Just not got the room. I suppose you could say that I have a shelve city! Just a suggestion, why not create a higher area, thicker board that you could build a sea wall against to build a beech area on the lower part using the beige plates. Going onto a water section perhaps for your lighthouse. Looks better than having everything on one level, you can also then create tunnels for the train. Just ideas. Enjoying being creative.

Brilliant watch, and agree with you that I'd hold off on the Hellicarrier as its far to over priced, wait for a sale. And I think I need to get C3P0 to go with the other figures as they look awesome together. You got some lovely sets, like the look of the crafting table. The new R2-D2 is a brilliant set. Looks like your local store wasn't as busy as liverpool. They kept having to restock the smaller but overpriced star wars sets. I grabbed jedi bob and desert skiff but had to wait for the Ahsoka set to be restocked on the shelf.

I watched your latest video and then realised the channels only 3 weeks old lol good luck with the lego city!

It looks AMAZING from the front, and I suppose if you put it between 2 other modulars, it doesn't really matter what the sides look like. Thanks for letting us know about teh Lego store star minifigs,, I'll be going to my local store to get some tomorrow!!! I made a video on my channel, adapting the same set, But I just used one set, and a few extra white bricks and plates, so it didn't end up modular like yours, but I just extended the upper floor... so I need the store employee minifigs to go inside!

Happy August 1st Lego release day! I ended up getting the Guardians Of The Galaxy Milano. I usually only really get the Star Wars set, but I’m really disappointed with the wave. There are only two sets that I want, and both are really overpriced. I’ll just wait for a sale. The Marvel sets releasing however are probably some of the best sets out of all the sets releasing. My Lego store only had 4 Milanos in stock! Only 4! Luckily I was able to get my copy. Sold out instantly! Everyone was grabbing it from the shelf.
