Wye have LEGO done the brick head batman in blue weird look

Hi. I’ve looked at quite a few tutorials on building a mils plate. I have always wondered why they weren’t completing it with a base plate on top. I think you’re the only one who has given an explanation as to why the top layer is made up with 4x4 plates. Thanks for that.

Another great video to watch. Having a backlog is part of being a lego fan. I don't think I'll ever get stuck of having anything to build. You have some very impressive sets. Love and best wishes.

You are lucky going up to the lego store on the 1st as soon as they opened, the tudor corner sold out everywhere by 11 am in most areas inthe uk stores. I couldn't get to my lego store because of no public transport was runing to get me to it on new years day. Went up yesterday and was first at the door they all where gone. Was so gutted, ended up ordering on phone. Its the 4th tomorrow and I probably want get mine till thos time next week 😔

Lucky Cat is actually Japanese, not Chinese. You can look it up. Japanese people don't celebrate Spring Festival. It’s weird Lego place this set under Spring Festival theme.

Nice to see a Lego fan who is also a Newcastle United fan too! I miss the Lego store at Metrocentre Newcastle. Super friendly staff, good selection of bricks on the PAB wall. I was there in October 2022.

Never been to any of these corporate shows, so this was an interesting video. Tend to go to shows run by AFOL groups, less marketplace and more models. Got one coming up in Shildon if you'd like to make a comparison video (free entry so you got nothing to lose ^_^)

That's interesting. I would have thought that putting another full flat sheet (plate?) down on top would have made more sense and would have been more sturdy, but didn't think about placing lights and such underneath. I guess you could also get some smaller plates (or cut a hole in a plate? Is that blasphemy?) for lighting as well

Not a great parcel experience 😢... Hope you've complained to DPD customer service aswell. Shame lego didn't create a priority order, but I have to say that I've always liked their customer service, especially over parts which have been missing. Great to have the extra Insider points though, bonus. Just shocking how your delivery turned up in the first place. Love how you've got the track looking, great idea. I do use a company for display cases and stands called "Wicked Brick" they are not cheap but At the end of the day you get what you pay for, the cases and stands I have bought have been really impressive quality, and have really set certain sets off for display, but not really needed if your building a city, but I do recommend the company, think you also get a discount code when you sign up towards your first order. Nice PAB and BAM Collection. Look forward to the lego store build. Take care and really positive how your channel is growing.

This is a beautiful set, I've got this one myself and was so much fun to build, this will look awesome in your city, a place for all the minifigs to eat.

So jealous you are setting up a lego city... Just not got the room. I suppose you could say that I have a shelve city! Just a suggestion, why not create a higher area, thicker board that you could build a sea wall against to build a beech area on the lower part using the beige plates. Going onto a water section perhaps for your lighthouse. Looks better than having everything on one level, you can also then create tunnels for the train. Just ideas. Enjoying being creative.
