@@ethanphi honestly I have no clue. Megatron was clearly playing around and Optimus knows he has a trick up his sleeve and Hot Rod noticed what Megatron was doing which prompted him to jump on Megatron. Even though Optimus says to Hot Rod he got this and should back off. Megatron overpowers Hot Rod and took him hostage. Optimus could not shoot and that split moment Megatron took the fatal shot. Hot Rod is written pretty well that mistakes can happen and the guilt he carries for the rest of his life. He was trying to save Optimus but instead led to Optimus’ death. As said in the devastation game which takes place somewhere in season 2 of the show optimus’ resolve of not knowing his friends are okay scares him. He didn’t cared for himself but knowing everyone will be alright without him during the darkest hour. That gave Optimus the resolve he needed. But I guess not a lot of people haven’t played Transformers devastation as I thought. As the comics do take some of the G1 timeline but I kinda treat it as different universe splinter off from the g1 timeline as they really do improved Rodimus Prime’s character a lot. Which I love 😊

@@chancylvania lmao so true tho. Unicron in the show was barely a threat but he has more foreboding in the superlink show. I got sick right after I finished a mini script of the superlink/Energon review that goes towards continuing the Optimus Prime/Convoy superlink video. I have noticed in the superlink show Convoy never brings emotion to a fight anymore but he is becoming increasingly more on edge while fighting even becoming violent at times. But not really the show doesn’t really does it do often but you really do feel the edge that the appearance of Unicron will come back and that kind of think scared the living crap of Convoy. It is because his resolve isn’t over in the finale of Micron Legend. We can say Superlink is the end of the animation studio and Galaxy force is a splinter timeline or different universe from the Micron Legend/Superlink timeline.

@@greyisland217 me too I don’t understand the hate on how he was written in the movie. The movie is perfectly fine on how they wrote him. He made one mistake and now has to take up the role of a prime. The hole and the guilt in Rodimus is still there but with time he learn his mistake and became a leader he didn’t expect to become.

@@strikeattack8508 I know right. As someone who is a Armada era kid. I don’t really get it but I made the beginning of the video that general perspectives changes a lot on how they consume media. Stuff can be added later to improve later but it doesn’t change the fact their first time viewing on a media. It is nice that they improved Rodimus’ character in the IDW comics but he still gets the shove to the side treatment by Optimus. As Optimus clearly sees him as a naive child or he doesn’t do enough to protect the things he care about. However I do like when Optimus is not there in the IDW comics with Rodimus. I like it when he forgives Megatron for the things he has done and turned a new leaf on being an autobot. He still sees the good in people even he gave his star to Megatron. As a reminder of their friendship. To be honest more than it meets the eye and lost light has go to be one of my favourite comics that I have seen in a while. The ending of lost light comic is the satisfying conclusion for me to send off the characters onto another exploration journey.

@@itstrashboi4142 it is because there is never gonna be skins of Rodimus Prime in popular video games when you think about Transformer from the normies it is optimus prime and Megatron. No one thinks first Hot Rod has importance and he really does get shoved to the side a lot.

@@lucasthegamemasterporterfi84 if you’re talking about animation in general. There is an animation cheat sheet on whenever an animated character speaks a word. They already have puppet animation aka flash animation where they have it all rigged up to the character or hand drawn traditional to save on time with animation. Studios figured out you can make b-roll shots or how big the background is and it saves on lip animation as lip animation is the most time consuming part of animation. Plus this series is for an American audience but they have to make the animation abroad because it is cheaper than giving animation teams in North America. This practice has been done for years to save on money and the demand when they broadcast the episodes. I hope that answers your question on that. Also fun fact to linger on if animation is made in North America it is made in places where the animation studios are cheaper living expenses like most of “North American” animation made in North America is done in Montreal, Canada. You can see a lot of gaming studios done this too to save money. The places where the pay wage is lower or minimum wage is lower. That is where companies place their studios at.

I remember watching rescue bots when it aired but I couldn’t at the time bc it looked way too kiddy for me to watch it. This is around the time where satellite was a thing than the internet to watch tv shows. The only things that I could watch on early TH-cam was the funimation channel that used to put up full anime series like x/1999, ergo proxy, and trigun.

@@CargoBlack9 I agree with that. A lot of animated tv shows aren’t at good as they were back then. Though ironically I have been watching the DC Comics tomorrow verse movies lately. They’re okay to watch as you have to watch all to watch the crisis on infinite earths but the best one is the long Halloween. It is long but totally worth the first watch.

Totally true armada Starscream is goat for story but the most underrated Starscream is WFC Netflix show mainly he got inflicted with cosmic horror for the rest of his days also he actually takes orders really well compared to other media out there. Kinda want Starscream to actually perform his duties properly. 😂

It is true I did looked into both at the same time. Superlink has better voice acting work than in Energon and really does respect the plot’s timeline (if you watch micron legend. Superlink punished you for not doing your homework). What keep me invested any not be tired of the show is the relationship that Kicker has with Misha and Roadbuster. Although I did had a mini rant in my starscream video just talking a bit in Energon because I did recently watched it in English and just didn’t like how they shoved starscream and Demolisher characters down the drain and a lot of plot holes not resolved like Kicker’s hatred for the autobots for like 2 episodes and never continued the plotline which I would explain why Kicker at first doesn’t trust Convoy.

so true I recently read the lost light idw comics and I am sad and bittersweet on the ending. Megatron discovering himself again after all the pain he had inflicted onto others and the years he wasted during his time as a slave and warlord. I am glad Megatron in the comics found his way but also losing so many help him realized this. lost light has got to be my favourite comics endings to the transformers idw cannon. btw I love his human avatar in the idw comic. it just shows how age does to someone.

Thank you so much. I am currently watching Energon in Japanese. It is a lot better than what I remembered so it is nice to enjoy something you have no idea it is gonna be good or not.

My instagram accounts shows like other things I do on the sides as well I frequently update there. Also I have to pattern things out that I am almost done with Hot Shot Armada script is gonna be done by today and it will go into the stages of recordings very soon like tomorrow. So be on the lookout soon. :)

Those final battle colors are gorgeous. There is a limited release version of the original toy. It’s in the “Magna Convoy DX Set” it was only released in Japan. It has an accurate final battle deco. It’s probably my favorite figure in my collection, it’s ungodly expensive in North America, but if you can get your hands on one it’s a real treat.

I honestly do what that we only got refreshed of Optimus, Megatron, Hot Shot, and starscream for the armada series. Though for Energon I hope they bring back inferno we only got core class galvatron and purple version. I bought the cyberton Starscream and Armada Starscream so far in the legacy toyline. I was about to buy hot shot but some of the pieces were missing at my local gamestop. So I’m waiting for Cybertron Hot Shot that is coming in September.

Ok this is gonna be a long response: A lot of people is predicting the comedy is gonna be like a normal Disney Pixar level but I don’t think that at all. There is Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles (2023) comedy and then there is Robots (2005) comedy. My guess it is more on the Treasure Planet comedy as where it is place limited to make the story flow better. (If you have watched Treasure Planet it is one of my fav 2000’s era of Disney movies.) Trailers normally fool the audience on what is going to happen in the film. You kinda have think that this is someone’s production binder and telling the audience who this movie is made for a general to pg-13 audience. here is my list and some of the toys line confirmed some of the characters already in the movie. That being airachnid and quintesson high command. -There is a small clip of a purple seeker (skywarp) making a takedown on D-16 during the jetback scene. - the first time Orion and D-16 meet will be at a gladiator arena. There could be a scene where after the arena fight, Orion followed D-16 outside asking for an autograph or just hang out in general which it continues onto the scene where the two got caught and the guard bot mistakenly Orion Pax for a slave worker when he is a office worker with Elita-1. (Which I think Elita helps out to get Orion out but also is frustrated when she has to help out D-16 and Bumblebee getting out.) which is how the 4 of them accidentally went to the surface and found Alpha Trion in a cave. Thus Alpha gives the 4 t-cogs and gives them the power to transform. -it could be the point where D-16 gets tackled during the jetback scene and who that seeker is tells D-16 that he is a criminal and a slave that he doesn’t deserve to leave his work station down below. -I think by the time he sees the corpse of the transformer titan that looks like the logo on his sleeve when the the team get separated. -He probably gets a vision of the future from the titan. His future and probably calls out to Alpha Trion that shouldn’t gave him a t-cog as it is was in his plan anyways of a war of cyberton to occur. -Orion calms D-16 down after he sees his future bc he is afraid of what he could do to his friend. -the moment that D-16 becomes Megatron and starts to form the decipicons group that there is a civil war is going to happen. He asks Orion to join him but refused as this isn’t the reason why he became his friend and gets himself heavily injured by Megatron and becomes Optimus Prime. -as for bee it is going be the same character but the difference is he is a higher rank than D-16 when the enforcer brought D-16 and Orion in to do some labour work. Probably I spoiled the entire film plot because I used like the how the movie in different arcs but I am interested how D-16 in this version becomes Megatron and his slow downward spiral. That is the one thing I have no idea the writers are going to plan it out in the movie. Even with all the predictions and expectations, I’m still gonna watch the movie regardless but it won’t stop me getting my hands on the quintesson high commander core class toy. For sure, I’m such a hermit on the internet and I want to share and discuss the things that I love. There is of course the original storyline of shattered glass comics. Apparently it took me so long to find it as it is a five issue transformers special and it isn’t labeled as “shattered glass.” That one has good Unicron in it alongside with Optimus Prime becoming Nova Prime in the comic timeline. TLDR it was the transformers devastation game that made me interested in Nova Prime’s character and I eventually found out the shattered glass timeline. It is crazy they made a toy of Optimus Prime/Nova Prime. That was the whole rabbit hole of the shattered glass comics but it is fun to read the crossover comics like the ones with the Star Trek in them.

Lmao so true he kinda does have like the Magneto Helment. I have troubles saying in my ut Optimus prime video the f is Megatron/Galvatron is wearing in season 1. So I just have a recording that Armada Megatron’s helmet piece looks like a Japanese stag beetle along side his triadic colour scheme being the opposite to Optimus Prime.
