it's a wonderful wonderful movie. As a music video director that movie how much help me I cant describe. Reflections, waters and all of the other shiny thing fit a music video.

filmed on the KWVR in 1969,70 one of my favourite films. also read the book. really loved the scene where Peter is given his model steam engine.

One of my favourite films of all time . First saw this in 1971 at the age of 10 and just like you have seen it on and off since but you’re right about the emotional effect it has . That final seen when she sees her father in the railway platform just as the smoke clears just brings me to tears every single time . What a fantastic cast also 😊🥰

I saw this as a kid in a classroom when I was real young never forgot I saw it again and melted my heart.

Absolutely amazing film...such wondeful insights and so real....this film is so needed and must be shared widely to open the necessary dialogue needed to begin to see Autism in a new light

I like most of tunes wit frds of following tunes of red and blue balloon and one is red and gold colour trims with stachuuu gombe's buttes in nature's best n this movi story.

The reason this film popped in my head in recent years was because I saw Schindlers list and that film had a clip of a girl with a red balloon. 🎈

I saw this film as a child in elementary school in Ida Michigan. For many years I would talk about it wanted a remake but no one knew what I was talking about. I would love to see an extended version of this on the big screen.

Thank you so much Francesco. This is our highest award. Now we can show what a Canadian says of our film (Opinions of foreigners are always valued here). In spite of getting 351 awards we are not noticed by the media here. I still and always will rue the night when I went to sleep without watching our film shown in Film Only Film festival. Had I gone through the schedule I could have woken up when our film was shown. I accept your point of not portraying Van Gogh at work. The film was based on my story "Vincent Van Gogh meets Death" included in my book "Glimpses of Life through Cobweb" in 2015. The reason for this story may be that it was about an unaccepted artist written by another unaccepted artist. Thank you once more for this is a great fuel not only for me but our entire team.

I agree with everything that is said, but it's a shame that the wonderful sound design and music were not mentioned as they were vital to the impact of the film and told the story at least as much as the animation. Sadly, both were so perfect l that, as is often the case with the sound world of a film, they got overlooked. I expect even Hans Zimmer has that problem
