Im pretty casual, but this was my game as a kid. To watch this speed run is like magic. The most impressive feat is... the nimbus works like hot garbage, so seeing it wrangled and used like it was is beautiful.

Honestly, people love megaman... but this is so smooth. Yeah you beat it without any extra heart containers, but it feels so good to get them and has a lot of options for players.

I wish I could muster one hundredth of the patience and determination that is necessary for all this mindless backtracking. Truly a crime against humanity, this game, and by Westwood of all companies! Huge props for pulling through and this off!
Hahahaha, the backtracking is... a tad annoying. But I get lost in the charm!
Amazing speedrun!! I used to play the heck out of this game as a kid and I recently picked it up at a popup retro fair in my state. Your speedrun was masterful & those glitches were top notch!! Keep up the awesome work man, this is super awesome!!

hi dnk! I'm trying to speedrun Dracula as well and I'm curious about the boss fights. Is it just an insanely fast button mashing or is there a "trick" to shoot so many stones in a short time? When I try to do it all I do is jumping and throwing so I suck lol. GG on the WR!
What I usually do is kind of rock my thumb back and forth between the jump and fire, very quickly. This allows you to fire multiple shots while in the air. Verbally, it's difficult to truly say *how* to do it, but if you do that, you should be able to rapid fire. Good luck with the runs! 💪🏻

I still have this game for my NES. Been a couple years since I played it. Haven't played actual 2 player in a decade or 2.
One of my favorite 2 player games to play with my brother. Simple premise, always a lot of laughs
Hey! There's actually a skip for the second dungeon using 2 characters I found as a kid. South of the village area with blue ring enemies, one character pushes the rock as far right as possible. The second player then goes north to push the camera up to unload the green statue, while the first player pushes the rock all the way to the right. When the second player heads back down, the first player will be inside the statue and can destroy it. You can then kill off the second player and finish the game solo.

I searched to see if there's a speedrun of this childhood favorite of mine and wow, there is one haha! Loved this game, but as a 7-year old I couldn't make it past the 2nd mine cart sequence haha
