Well, this was my good night story and it was good. However, I believe there should be more trained snipers in future stories that can coordinate better. A part two which show that earth defenses using alien technology will not let another ship through without rising silent, but effective communication and resistance.

The story keep repeating itself, and sounds like every description is bloated with too many words.

I love sniper stories. They remind me of my childhood when we used to play Cowboys and Indians. Indians made the best snipers. We learned how to use the land, the shadows of the cactus, the shadow of standing straight next to a yucca stock and never been seen. Bring us back on childhood memories of playing in the dusk Cowboys and Indians.

Why let enemy ships retreat intact when they should destroy as many of them as possible as they try to run, leaving them with fewer ships to come back with? No competent commander would allow it. 👎
