Why not? He hasn’t had a competitive car for a while. Ferrari seems to value him because of his experience. His contract met his requirement ($400 million for four years, $400 million donated to his charity plus a Ferrari ambassadorship). The Ferrari F1 car doesn’t seem that far off from being dominant. It was his boyhood dream to drive the red car.

@nahidrahman5570 Re-read the rules. Who is ahead at the apex determines the line. For it to be considered as an overtake attempt, the front axle only needs to be alongside the rear axle of the defending car. The overtake maneuver must be done safe and always leave room for the defender. Breaking late while on the inside (dive bomb) is considered as dangerous driving. Russel was given a penalty.

There's no doubt that Mick Schumacher faced some tough breaks with the car he had, but F1 is often about timing and team dynamics.
