Well that sliced blue stone necklace may be sodalite or another blue tinged stone. These slices come in several different stones and colors, have electroplated raw edges and are commonly available to crafters and jewelry makers on Etsy or Amazon. Are the stones drilled horizontally all the way through as beads? Or, are there holes drilled from front to back, where they are connected? Most often I see these as single pendants, not as a graduated necklace.

The Pearl bracelet is at the 46-47 minute mark. It just looked like the clasp was rhodium plated and sterling. I could be wrong though.

The necklace at the 34:00 mark looks gorgeous and very old. The chain at the top might not be original to the necklace but it reminds me of Neiger Brothers. It’s gorgeous even if it’s not real stone but it does really look like lapis. It could be as old as the 1920s and valuable but through my tv screen I can’t be sure. Neiger Bros can sell in the hundreds. The tone of the gold is really eye appealing, but again I could be wrong. Either way it is beautiful.

Do you deeply discount your better pieces because the sterling earrings look like lapis and possibly jade and similar earrings are listed online forms the 50s to 70.00 range. I’m not sure if I’m accurate on the stones because it’s hard to tell onscreen.

The genuine Pearl bracelet looks like it has a sterling clasp.

The necklace at the 6 min mark is Jcrew.

Hi Nancy, it's always so nice to hear your voice and see your videos. You asked about what to call the beads that you are referring to as tiger eye beads. I believe glass beads like this with that glowy appearance are called cat eye beads. I also struggle with my Presidium gem tester. I still use it but a lot of the time it is not accurate. Recently I re-tested a Ross Simons gemstone ring. It was testing as tourmaline. I end up having to google lens any gemstone jewelry that I receive. That ring was found and the gemstones are actually garnet. I am going to look into a refactometer. Thanks for the tip! 💖💖😊😊💖💖
