I don’t have a water source out there. But due to the constant interference of the squirrels, my nephew took the feeders down. I tried moving them to the crabapple tree in the front yard, but the squirrels ripped all the bark off the tree trunk in 2 days. And it caused all the turkeys to gather in the front as well. I felt it would be best for the tree to take it down. And I also didn’t want to cause any problems with our neighbors.

If only the algorithm could be trusted…

Yes. I usually take a small container of bird seeds with me when I take the dogs for a walk out back. While they’re doing their roaming around the yard, I spread the seeds. The turkeys are usually in the yard within a few minutes after we get back inside. They are very intelligent survivalists with keen eyesight. The squirrel was on the corner of the railing in plain sight of the turkey. I’m actually surprised it didn’t attempt to get to the food source.
