Hello! My name is Lauren Torey! I am a 21-year-old, Canadian mezzo-soprano, studying at The Juilliard School in New York City for Vocal Studies. I attended Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto for Musical Theatre. I have always had a love and talent for singing so I decided to pursue it as a career. I have been training classically in opera studies with the incredible payoff to be able to study at the Juilliard School. I have had many incredible opportunities that I am so grateful for. A few of them being: performed off-Broadway, sung with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, performed in more than 20 musicals in and around Toronto, and much more.
Along with more traditional vocals, I write and produce original music! Heavily inspired by artists like Vance Joy, Dodie, Kings of Convenience, and many other incredible singer-songwriters.
