Holy shit!!!! This was my first ever concert as a 14 year old and Anthrax has remained my favourite band to this day. I will never forget that night a drunk dude nearly being hit by a car and rolling across its bonnet on Henley Beach Road as he ran to join the line to get into Thebbie 😂. Cheers for posting.

OMG!!!!!!! all the metal heads in my year level (year 10 #Enfield HighSchool) went to that gig, The next morning a sea of Persistence of Time Tour Tshirts! OMG. Im transported back to 1990. wow THANKYOU. I always heard the Megadeth Adelaide show wasrecorded Thebby Theatre 1991 - that was loud :-)

Younger people probably won't understand how hard it was to make these recordings. Most tapers used cassrttes for Zoo TV, and a small subset made beautiful digital recordings on DAT or MD devices. I have blended some of these into matrixes, and the timing is a nightmare on cassette resordings. The tape speed varies a lot, and is not constant.

NIN - what squalor would sound like if it made a noise.

Great idea to upload these. Was never a fan but caught them in 2015. Walking along the river to Bonython Park they were playing Fell on Black Days and it sounded pretty darn good I have to admit. They did seem a more subdued band than this one exploding onto the scene 2 decades earlier. Perhaps it was just the scorching weather.

This was one hell of a lineup. My only complaint was that they put Ween on after the headliner and had them play in a small room that could only accommodate a tiny fraction of the total crowd, so after NIN finished everyone piled into it and I missed out on one of my favorite bands. Otherwise, top f'ing event.

I was at the Sydney Alternative Nation and it was mind-blowingly good. Went for Faith No More and was young, so unfortunately did not know or appreciate Tool, NIN, Primus, The Tea Party and a range of other amazing bands there that day.

I dont think this is body count there is no guitar and I dont recognize these songs
