How to Join Foundation Crochet Stitches
Foundation stitches for crochet are a handy skill to master, but learning how to join foundation stitches can be tricky. However, all it takes is a little know-how. Once you learn a few basic steps, you'll be able to join any foundation stitch easily!

I crochet, but I also inherited a large container of knitting needles from my granny after she passed away. I would like to honor her memory in learning how to knit. I was never able to learn as a child because I'm left-handed, and my mom didn't have the patience to teach me when I was younger. Now, I have to teach myself just like I taught myself to crochet. 😂

Is worsted wool ok 4 this pattern? Please lmk. Ty. And how long should your 69 inch foundation row be using the 5mm hook? Ty so much.
As long as the yarn weight is worsted, it should be fine. The foundation row for the size I do in the video should be about 17 inches. I cannot say exactly since it may change slightly when you complete the rest of the rows. Hope this helps!

Cant believe your still adding in music after all the complaints about it. The volume seems lower than some ofvyour other vids, but its still super distracting and annoying. If you insist on music, perhaps something softer. This particular song is not good. Not trying to be mean..

I have just started learning how to crochet. I've been able to knit for a long time, but liked the versatility of crocheting too. It's not easy going between the two crafts! I did my very first granny square tonight, along with your video. I had about four attempts until I was happy with it, so thank you. Not sure what I'll make yet.

Yep, the lemon peel stitch is a stitch combination that alternates single and double crochets. It is really simple, but it creates a texture that is similar to a lemon peel, which is how it got its name.
