Hard Enduro Training Workout with Opsal Training Facility. Video 2 of 2 Carnegie SVRA. Lap 2
That first lap was hard to watch and this second lap is terrible but it was about the workout and hopefully gain something in the skills department.
If you can’t watch it I don’t blame you.
I’m working on something I think my viewers will like so stay tuned for that to come out in the future.
Thanks for watching!👍

Today was much better I made some changes to the bike. New front tire, trying out the Tusk Talon front tire and it works very well, I like it! My buddy Alan gave me a used IRC V33S rear tire and that even worn works amazingly well, I’ve used this tire in the past and thinking it will be my go to rear tire. You ever have one of those days? Boy I had a rough time trying to keep up with my buddy Alan, it didn’t help that I’m riding with worn out tires and new boots that are way too stiff, I couldn’t feel the rear brake and shifter stomping on the rear brake at the worst possible times going up loose technical climbs. We traded bikes for a bit and wow Alan Husqvarna 300 is so smooth, the motor, the s...
My Failure on the Mark Beers Line! Carnegie SVRA 10/5/24
มุมมอง 168วันที่ผ่านมา
I failed on the Mark Beers Line! This is the last and hardest part of Creek Bed 1 at Carnegie SVRA, it’s basically a small water fall. I think it was early this year when I first went up this creek and I chose to do a line to the left that most everyone seemed to be doing but just before hitting it, I saw the line to the right and said to myself, that’s the line! Still I took the left and after...

Glad to see you’re still out riding, having fun, and making great videos!
@@michaelbostwick3537 Mikey! How’s it going? Miss you and Tosha. When can you two come out and ride?
Was the dog okay when you got back to the truck? haha. Nice vid, you guys are having a blast!
Coolest 65 years old guy that I know. Keep it up man!!!
Lens flare is just part of layers of lenses. Nothing to worry about
😂 nice ,It was really nice meeting you, hopefully we could do a Meet&Ride one day.
Bring on the Suffer Fest!🤗
I love watching your videos. You show me all the places I would never dare go at Carnegie. I'm usually by myself out there and am afraid to get stuck. I just got some new tires for my XR650L. Do you change them yourself? I hate driving all the way to Motowrx every time and want to start doing it myself...
@@S.G.37 yeah when I’m by myself there’s stuff I won’t do, always good to have another person with ya. I do my own tire installation.👍
Lens flare happens on every camera. You can try adding a small lens hood. Nice job on the hill.
@@loyal2thesoil57 Lenz Flare. Would a filter help with that? I don’t even know what a Lenz filter is for. Thanks buddy!🤗
Hey Donn, I'm the guy on the KLX that stopped by to say hi near your truck on Friday. It was my first time at Carnegie since about 1990. That creek bed ride up the waterfall looked good! Nice feel good ride after the frustration of the tires and breaking in new boots earlier in the week. Thanks again for the videos.
@@JohnMurphy_56 cool, it was nice meeting you thanks for stopping and introducing yourself. So great that you’re back to riding, keep it up 👍
12:43! That spot right there! I asked at the moto mart and they said that gate is never open. I'd really like to see what's up that trail to the left of the gate, but I was scared because it was a steep black diamond and my bike was boiling coolant last saturday, maybe I'll nut up and give it a try tomorrow.
@@mikethemaniac1 yeah, it’s been closed I think 10 years or more now. They have been working on it and my buddy Alan got word it should be open so we checked and nope not open.
Wish you had a cam showing your body position. We would learn so so much from that - that would elevate the skill learning for us to an another level! Love your videos either way 😊
@@anikendraghosh thanks buddy, hope to see you out there!🤗
Yo Don!! love your videos, been watching them for a few months now 😄 im a new rider (just about a year of seat time now) but i struggle alot with off camber hill slopes. Almost lost my bike on Heater in Black Bear yesterday. whats the key for passing? speed/momentum? or is just balance. btw that 13 year old puts me to shame 😅 great riding guys!
@@ambiance461 good tires, low pressures, weight the outside peg and smooth throttle control. Oh and a lot of practice!🤗 thanks buddy!👍

@@loyal2thesoil57 haha, and I totally messed up on that one. Maybe a Trials bike is in my future.🤔
Watching your video is making me question my stark varg's ability to do these creek beds. As it is now the suspension might as well be filled in with concrete.
@@loyal2thesoil57 did you watch the video Jonny Walker getting Triumph’s first win? Taddy makes the podium on his Stark Varg. 👍
I didn't see it. I'll check it out. There's no way in hell they're riding the Varg on stock suspension. It's like riding a skateboard with a 2x4 for a seat. I got the medium suspension too. That and lack of a clutch is going to be interesting. :)
Good to see your Carnegie videos again. The videos from the red sticker opener looked fine to me, but I did hear the audio cutting out. Looking forward to cooler weather so we can see Logan again too. He's a good lookin dog.
