Thumbnail blood blister drill pressure relief
This Easter, I drilled through my thumbnail to remove a blood blister that was pulsing and causing continuous pain. I've used needles and even a small screw before for toenail and fingernail pressure relief. This heated drill bit technique seemed to work well. It would have been better had I done it the day of the injury. Thirty minutes after drilling through, the pain subsided. No pain from the heated drill.

Great video and review. Thank you! You’ve helped me decide to get these. 🙌🏼
Agreed, didn't really notice the weight they felt pretty springy and like they wanted to "go." Pretty rare for super high stack shoes they usually just rob energy. Also have the Speedgoats and the Torrent 2s, all for different purposes. Running in the Stinson ATR 6 is refreshing, they have a really nice rocker to them and are a pleasure to use in the right conditions.
Hi Jason, thanks for the thorough review. How are you getting on a month in? Any disintegration on the sole? Asking as a few folks have complained about this on the Stinson and for me it's a deal breaker on whether I get these or the Brooks Caldera. Best!
Sorry for the slow response. I'm just now ordering my second pair of Stinsons. The soles held up very well throughout. I did a 50-mile trail run in them last week (non-technical), and they did great, although in retrospect, I should have replaced them before the race. I've noticed that my foot was sore a bit toward the end of the run and then again during a hike yesterday. Looking back at this video, the soles have deteriorated some, but that's only normal wear and tear - no disintegration. These aren't my only shoes, so I didn't have a ridiculous amount of miles on them, but probably should have replaced them sooner. I'm buying another pair, so that's probably the best endorsement.
@@jasonbring7132 thanks so much for your response! All the best and happy trails my friend!
