Not a Bother has been going for approximately twenty five years and over the years has evolved into the popular and formidable six piece band it is today. Some of the original members of the band still with the band today include Peter Ryan, Collie McKean and Gary Cooley. Over the last few years Not a Bother have been joined by Stuart Lowry, John Henshaw, and Noel Joyce. We also very often have special guest musicians playing with us Pat McCarthy, Sean O'Leary, Shay Coyne, Grainne McKenna and Ruairi O' Broin. The band has become a family, a close knit ballad family that enjoys each other’s company, the music, the craic, the pints, and of course the slagging and banter, and as every member of the group knows a thick skin is required! We hope the sheer enjoyment we get playing together comes across in our music, and we love playing to our many followers and supporters who also enjoy the music and the craic and are very much part of who we are.

Well done .
Great. Luke would be proud.

Stuff this PC shite! Sing the proper lyrics and don't feel any need to apologize. The song is about the Easter Uprising of 1916.

Great stuff Pat .
Beautiful, unfortunately in another 20 or so years there's going to be a non Irish group sitting there singing "It's A Long Long Way From Pakistan To Here.
Looks like a place where i'd love to spent lots of evenings

Amazing
"...when being just a boy like you...I joined the IRA"...what's wrong with singing the proper lyrics, lads??? Feel very disappointed... These musicians are shite! God bless to all the Irish from a Polish man, who knows the original lyrics!
Probably just the singers fault, see how he's facing away from the rest so camera will show his face? The others might think he's a bit of a knob anyway.
Was this in digbeth Birmingham? Looks like the spotted dog Great job lads

Hi guy's where are they all from in Ireland
If your going to sing the song show a bit of respect and sing the proper words absolutely embarrassing singing a politically correct version of a wonderful rebel song , hang your heads in shame
