Oh yeah i was twice in BKK for Christmas and new years... Its not like in Europe. I dont remember anything special for Christmas, and it didn't feel like Christmas too. New year is big in Icon Siam, but so so crowded i could not breather so i had to leave. Again not same as in Europe and it felt like ordinary day, just as Christmas. Maybe it will change this year, but last time i was there was before Corona times

Can I ask what your remote job is exactly? What you have done is literally my dream. For now I have decided to get into IT because there are so many different jobs in that field and quite a few of them can be done fully remote but I think the road to get there will take a long time because most companies will not let you live in another country for tax reasons so the only way to really make it work is to make yourself very valuable to companies. I will start working in helpdesk very soon but I think the road to find a job in cybersecurity or to learn more specialized skills like coding in cybersecurity or sth like that will take up to 5 years. I'm a little jealous that you were able to make it work in only 18 months so I'm curious where your choice fell.
