-40°C / -40°F 2022 POLARIS RMK KHAOS 850 EXTREMELY COLD START.
The Khaos has been sitting outside for about a week now during one of our cold snaps while I fix the Shed. Let’s see how it starts up.

Enjoying a leisurely fall drive through Bruderheim back to the main road in a 2020 Powerstroke.
Definitely not 40 below you can tell by how easy the snow was removed. If you know you know
Bro, next time you wanna start it let the fuel pump build pressure, push the button to activate the pump for at least 3 times, and let the pump do it’s job by extracting and feeding gas to the circuit, and it will start easier
40 below and I can't see your breath more like 40 above
If it was -40 your hands will be frozen by the time you touch the snow
Finally someone who knows cold starts. All these -5c cold start bs
That's why putting cloth on bikes/cars is important😂
Im inpressed
That's not - 40! First of all it's snowing. And snow is more chrispier at - 40 I call B. S.! I live in a climate where it's - 40 now and then, and this is NOT it!
well thats how -40 looks here in minnesota and other places in the states, and not to assume but he sounds like hes from muricaland so id assume hes in the north up here
I've started at -40 before, sounded like it. How slow it was cranking and freeze dryed starter
Yea i live in canada and i get a bit of how cold it is here then where you are but. -40 in bc is undeniable for me
That is definedly not -40°C maybe like -25°C
Right!? At 40 below the snow would have melted on his fingers then stuck on the handlebars when he touched it
Hahahaha americans and their ”cold ” starts…if it was -40c you would not be bare handed 😂😂😂 you would use gloves
Fun fact 40 below is where Celsius and Fahrenheit meet.
@@ISUwrstlr In Canada they use celsius only US who use farenheit. And my Cforce 1000 have been in the cold garage for 4 months and we had minus 30 celsius for weeks and minus 25 for weeks and it startet on first try so those are very good atv's.
No electric start? Honestly, that's why I bought a Polaris Switchback Assault 850. Oh yeah, and you can't mount a 2-up seat to your easily damaged tunnel on that RMK. Nice cold start video though! Might I also recommend getting some PacTalk Bolds for radio communication and making phone calls with your helmet on. It beats having to stop each time you communicate and yelling over the running sleds each time.
Hello there, could I use a fragment of your video for my coldstarting compilation? Of course I will put a link to your original video in the description, increasing the original’s popularity too. Thanks a lot for you answer in advance, merry Christmas to you aswell!

That's really impressive! I would highly suggest though to run full synthetic oil for maximum engine protection when starting and maybe a engine pre-heater?
Oh no worries she’s always running synthetic and usually lives in the shed. We do a lot of winter camping so I needed to test if it could handle sitting under a pile of snow for two weeks and still start.
wow
-40 no glove, you savage!
😂 Got super lucky with really good circulation in my hands. However I still wear thin gloves to break the wind when out riding in this weather.
That the dumbest looking sled ever wtf
Poor boy never seen a mountain sled before 😂🤡
good 👍
It looks like the tires aren’t even turning 😁
