The next time to get back to Pennsylvania try the train station in New Oxford Pennsylvania and there is an old mail car that is now turned into an Ho scale layout and we can run DCC trains on the layout and if you do get a chance to come I can tell you more history about the train station

I should be working on my rig!!! I have a 1998 36' Monaco MH diesel pusher with slide. It came with tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Eight inch squares set diagonal. They are all cracked. Even though the whole floor is double layer 3/4" chip board they should have used cement board under the tile I believe. Like you use in your home showers under tile. My tile is cracked but it is still glued down so I'm leaving it for now. A friend happened to be pulling up dark burgundy high quality carpet from a house they just purchased and they gave me all of it. I don't care for the color either but my rig had a light green Florida look to the carpet and it was thin and fading. I pulled up all the green and all the staples but left the padding. The new carpet just lays into the area you cut it for. I lay out the large sections and measured and made the most of the carpet for very little waste. A few places I stapled and double stick tape but was an easy job and looks good. I even went up the walls to the windows in the bedroom. Helps keep it warmer feeling at least. I had so much I did a 10 x 10' shed and the motorhome basement. Then I put down 36" across the cold tile kitchen and bath flooring back to the bedroom. I don't have pets and I know the style is hard surface today but I bought a heavy duty garage vacuum. Bissell Garage Pro wet/dry vac with a thirty foot hose. I store it inside my rig so it is always ready to clean. You can vent it outside. Every RV should have one. Since I take off my shoes inside having the plush shag is nice and the colors aren't so bad. Being wet / dry I could use it to clean the travel strip down the middle, or just find some carpet some women hates in her new home. Carpet is the easy, mistake covering material for me, now back to work.

Vinyl sheet (Linoleum) is the way to go. Plank, whether its wood or vinyl, will always expand and contract. Add in the RV floor is flexible, and that compounds the problem. Linoleum, stapled at the edges and adhesive at the seams is win. Surface preparation is key, smoother is better. Where you want softer warmer floor or abrasion resistance, put high density foam rubber mats. Theres a reason Linoleum was used in home kitchens and trailers for decades. Stay gold.

I went there with my parents and our friends just now, and it was a great show! With all the lights, the music, the animals, and the special effects! Also, that boat scene is my favorite. By adding the wood laminate plank, were you concerned about the extra weight of it. I’m wanting to do the same, but I’m concerned about the 300 pounds of extra weight.

Ok so this has definitely changed a *lot* since I was there when I was young, especially the island! The turnpike was not on island when I was there, and the island focused on history of the park rather than dinos. Glad the turnpike is around in some form though! They also had a steamboat that took you around the island waters but it was already showing its age when I was there and I think they retired it a few years after. But I saw in your filming background that they still have the gondolas around the island which is good 😊 And oh man great to see them preserving the "crazy house" although ... I was always scared to ride it and never went on

I live 2 states away but close enough that I have been a few times. It isn't worth it for me cause I'm old and have no taste buds and one small plate would be it. Of course, that includes a piece of coconut cream pie.

Oh wow, thank you for showing this!! We live in Central PA and last month we went to Sight and Sound for the first time, to see Daniel!! I was just blown away!! I cannot find words to describe how it felt to be in that theater. The roaring thunderous sound of the music, the songs, the actors, the animals!! Absolutely awesome! I was so obsessed with it for a month! I literally tear up every time I hear the song “Cry for home”, I think that’s the name. 🤔 But I wanted to go back down and watch it all over again. The panoramic stage was just out of this world! We felt like we were right there living that life. That would be one awesome place to work and be a part of. Do you know if they keep the animals there on their property? That is so cool how you were able to get onto the stage and see everything like that!

I've visited Gettysburg a bunch and I'd suggest the next time you go, spend more than 1 day. Perhaps walk from Seminary Ridge to Cemetery Ridge, following Pickett's Charge. Hook up with an NPS ranger for a "battle walk". I was surprised you showed no shots from Little Round Top, the best view in the park. It just recently reopened after significant restoration work. The Auto Tour is fine for an overview, but I always get a better sense of things on foot, as most of the soldiers were.

IF you decide to reinstall LVP again, I would suggest a thicker plank and PLEASE install the plans perpendicular to the direction of travel. Be mindful of the softer spots and avoid having seams on them if at all possible. One reason the seams opened up and broke in the soft area is because the "bowling alley" install allows all of your weight to be on one single plank. Perpendicular install spreads out the weight over at least two planks. You can do it yourself, I believe in you
