उषा तिमोथी ने कई साल स्व. मोहम्मद रफी साहब के साथ काम करते हुए गुजारे. मुझे लगता है की मोहम्मद रफी साहब की याद में जब यह अवॉर्ड शुरु हुआ , तब, सबसे पहला अवॉर्ड उषा तिमोथी मॅडम को दिया जाना चाहिये था!! बहोत देरसे यह अवॉर्ड उषाजी को नसीब हुआ. बाहरहाल उषाजी बहोत नसीबवाली है, जो रफी साहब के परिवार की सदस्य ही बन गयी थी!!
