That looks good buddy, what you use for stain?
Thanks i think it's behr semi transparent "coffee" color
Awesome video. Subscribed
Thank you!
First….twice in a row🤘🏼
Heck ya thanks for the support!
Rebuild my 08' with a Wossner 102mm big bore kit, the thing pulls like train now, the previous owners really butchered the bike, but now its perfect
@rustytanks hell yeah I was thinking about doing a big bore kit but the bike had such low miles when it scattered i Wana get some life out of it first. I've heard all good things about wossner
@offgridhandyman one thing I noticed is that the big bore kit has no vibration whatsoever, smooth as butter, yes...your sleeve still looked brand new, maybe at the 40k miles mark you can do the Wossner (680cc) or the Eagle Mike 685cc kit, both are excellent
@rustytanks yeah definitely going to probably make it a 685 the next time around already put 10k on rebuild so far so good.
First!
Good job! I found this video looking to see if anyone had done this because I just bought 2 of these green houses on sale at HF and was going to do the same thing. Thanks for posting this. It helps out a lot.
You bet man good luck! It's not that bad
Thinking you should be adjusting for log taper. Your slabs will be very unstable when drying.
@@waynetechnicianable definitely do for longer ones. The 8 footers not much need
But how long do you let the wood dry for?
Just depends on what quality of finished product you want I let these dry for a year but not necessary
Why do you put your slabs in the saw dust.
Why do you put your slabs in the sawdust making hard work
Excellent "How To" video. The best I've seen so far.
Good stuff
I thought it would have an automatic starter??
thanks for sharing brother. I'm looking to get one of the woodland mills models.
Awesome video man. Thank you SO much for this! Sub and bell!
Great video.
This guide covers everything from start to finish with the Woodland Mills HM126. Super informative and perfect for anyone looking to mill their own lumber. Thanks for sharing such detailed insights!
Great work, Lad. Thanks for covering the pre-cutting steps, like checking oil, gas and water. How often do you check level and square? Also, do you recommend buying kiln dry lumber from which to make the stickers?
I broke the actual case - at the return spring post. I have to replace the case itself - any advice? (From Oregon)
@yourdebtisunpayable9614 well hard to say without seeing it but you could probably find that side of the case on ebay? What return spring? For the doohickey tensioner? My case had a small Crack and I used jb weld
good video and job
Thank you
Very well explained. I've got the MH 130 max
That look like a pain in the butt..What kind of tires you running?
Yea not too bad. Motoz gummy on the rear and a golden Tyre up front.
good video and job looks good you have come a long way. take care, be safe and well.
good video and job you have got a lot done.
Some video that buddy. im about to do mine all the way down here in Sheffield engleand..
Good luck it's not too bad
Lovely creature
Great music selection ❤
he looks hungry....poor thing.....
Beautiful
do you think you could do this with a greenhouse and a shed?
Yea I don't see why not. Especially if they're the same size/layout joining the roofs would be easy. A good handy or framer could do it regardless of size
Enjoy your channel, good work.
Thank you! glad you enjoy
Woke up this morning with a plan in my mind, Gonna mill my own lumber, gonna work that grind. Got my chainsaw roaring, and my mill set up right, Turning logs into lumber, by the morning light. Milling my own lumber, it's a labor of love, From the forest to the workshop, it's like hand in glove. Every cut and every plank, tells a story so true, Milling my own lumber, it's what I love to do.
That's awesome man. Almost needs to be a song or something.
Very good. Keep going...
Thanks! I will!
Great work! You are an inspiration to me. My drive to get my shop up this year is greater than ever! Keep up the amazing work! Be safe. Take care.
Thank you I appreciate that! And good luck with your shop project this year. One foot in front of the other. :)
Nice job. I discovered your channel by looking up rough sawn lumber videos. I’m milling my own lumber for my shop build. Check it out. You’re doing amazing work! I’ll keep watching. Watch out for your back! Lift and bend with your legs. It takes getting used to, but it’s better than a blown back. Take care.
Thank you. I appreciate the encouragement. Will do!
good video and job stain will look diff. on diff. wood and some times they don't mix them all the same to. i hope you can get it like you want. it take a lot of time when you mill it all your self but you get what you want and you did it all your self. take care, be safe and well.
Thanks, yea we ended up taking it back because it was defective and got the right color. I'm happy with it. Take care:)
Run one for the first time last week awesome
I really like that board and batten siding. Great job! What type of wood?
Thanks it's just pine with coffee stain
Looking good
Informative and refreshing. Tips and tricks galore. And what a castle this is shaping up to be. Two things struck me - one, the scaffold move was so easy and two, the comments on recording your work for posterity. Thank you for sharing your work.
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words. It's pure potential until it's manifested reality ;)
Well done brother
Thanks
Been watching a bunch of your videos and all I can say is “Wow” . I can’t believe the stuff you have accomplished and mostly by yourself! I hope you are proud of what you do everyday! Keep going! I look forward to watching more progress.👍
Thanks man I appreciate that alot. Always chipping away. Slower than most when making the lumber but moving foward stay tuned!
I have an HM130 so I understand how much work it is and that’s why I can appreciate what you have done. I may attempt a small house build after watching you build that incredible house. Look forward to your progress!
why not turn it 180 for the second cut?
You can absolutely do it that way as well. Both work and have pros and cons
House looking good 👍💯💪
Thanks!
Your channel is still a good watch and the solo building sure brings out the efficiencies.
Thank you. Yeah I'm still trying to figure out the whole film/edit part, efficient at some things though
Good job, like your music.
Thanks! Still learning how to edit
Can you do this side by side?
I wouldn't recommend it for the reason of rain and snow not being able to shed properly.
thanks for posting, very helpful. at 20min - how are you able to dial or adjust the scale arrow to zero out a measurement? I can't do it with mine?!? I think there is a hex insert in the back. I guess I need to loosen it !?!
Great video mate, I'm about to do mine now!
Thanks good luck:)
