see Europe’s most efficient vehicles. This concept cars are fueled by water! With about 80 grams of water, the Thaiger H2 drives 1,000 kilometers. A small electrolyzer could split this water to hydrogen with solar. In gasoline equivalent one person could drive 100 kilometers with 0.03 liters or 7,800 miles per gallon. While ordinary cars drive only 22 mpg or 10 liters per 100 kilometers.

    The new style wind mill looks less efficient because of the small surface size that 'catches' the wind. Plus the outer portion of the new turbine blades spin faster than the wind speed (calculated). I would think that would end up as drag.

    Could you do a video on Hyzone which is made the same way ozone is created from oxygen? In the case of hyzone the hydrogen is excited in a high voltage chamber. I'm having trouble finding the properties of hyzone and how it differs from ozone. If you create hyzone and ozone separately do they make a better fuel when mixid and burnt? Would hyzone have better lifting properties?

    In combination with electrolyzers, University of eindhoven is heating houses, providing heat to brewery from iron powder burned infurnace, then regenerated by hydrogen, so it seems bonkers, but you can easily "charge" 1000 liters of iron powder in summer, to burn it in winter and release 6 MEGAwatthours from that amount.

    is it possible if you combine 3 10% HHO + 20%ELECTRIC IN THE FRONT WHEEL + 70%PETROL AT THE REAR WHEEL WHILE MIXING HHO AND PETROL FOR GOOD COMBUSTION AND CONSTRUCT AN EXTRA GENERATOR LIKE A FLEXIBLE SOLER PANEL ON TOP OF THE CAR TO CHANGE THE BATTERY FOR THE ELECTRIC WHEELS AND THE HHO ..... WILL IT WORK IT'S MY DREAM TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT ???

    • @volks-electrolyzer

      nice idea, keep in mind that solar has about 200 W/m², thus is quite unproportional to a fossil powered car. but the secondary electric mo in combustion engines is a standard, mostly for regenerative breaking. This shouldn't discourage you from your dream, just quantify, before scaling up. ;)

    • @suleimanyunusa4871

      good regenerative idea what if you add small wind turbine at the top , bottom wind defuser,two front grill and four at the wind breaker which will increase something but i know it's just a theory .. then weight issues too but just speculating!!

    • @volks-electrolyzer

      @@suleimanyunusa4871 while you drive the resistance of the wind turbine will always be bigger than the electric generation. when the car stand still and a storm comes by you'll have a positive balance. The generation of energy in my eyes has to be seen stationary, and a home refueling station fills your car with excess power you cannot consume directly in a home. Check out the video th-cam.com/video/Qz9VdcvXacQ/w-d-xo.html where I explain my idea of cheap driving. Thanks for your fantastic ideas anyway

    thank you, it will change soon, there are other source of energy that with international cooperation in coastline we can reduce global warming, sea is huge source of energy, further more we can prevent these phenomena like cyclone and flood and wildfire by using this hot seasonal atmospheric condition, recent years in summer, geothermal energy happens in surface of coastline, there are many countries in coastline with seasonal hot weather and water condition, in sum-up, by using this energy not only is economical but also reduce global warming in countries like Japan, China, India, Mediterranean countries, Iran, Mexico, Us, Canada, (Africa and Arabian countries....) . I invented new method base on air pressure rules and quantum physics ionization sea water minerals in strong dynamic magnet and electrical field and electric chemical reactions for producing electricity and fresh water and fertilizer. 7 methods for reducing global warming I mentioned in my profile.

    I don't understand why no scooter 🛵 or motorcycle company builds a small lightweight enclosed vehicle. Like a motorized velomobile. Or like what's shown at 0:45 and use an efficient motorcycle engine. If the vehicle isn't dorky looking & can go hwy speeds without being slow. While getting 60-75+ mpgs, people would buy them. The car at 0:45 could be a tandem 2 seated. With some aerodynamic removable storage compartments. That could mount to the outter body. If 2 people wanted to go on a road trip.

      An EV is more efficient use of the electricity but the parts needed to make an EV are more expensive.....So if you can build a diy hho generator for cheap and run a cheap small engine off hho.... It's much cheaper to build but less efficient use of electricity to convert water to hho gas.

    I get that this is used to advance research on hydrogen powered vehicles, but forgoing the electrolysis and combustion for a electric engine would make it plain more efficient. But if the race is about hydrogen cars i get why its done like this. Given the other designs presented (more car-like) its no surprise this one won.

    This video is so dumb. First of all to compare water "mileage" to fuel mileage makes no sense. Second of all the water is not the source of energy. It's like saying my car gets 20000mpg because that the amount of oil it burns.

    "powered by water" What a stupid thing to say. They are obviously powered by electricity, just in a very complicated an inefficient way. They would go farther if they just stored whatever electricity they got into a battery at 95% efficiency, rather than using electricity to electrolyze water to make hydrogen(throwing away some energy), compressing the hydrogen gas into a tank(wasting even more energy), and then running it through a fuel cell (losing even MORE energy) to get a fraction of the energy back..

    Current electrolysis technologies can achieve efficiencies of 60-80%, with solid oxide electrolytic cells (SOEC) being the most efficient at 80%. The hydrogen is then combined with nitrogen from air using the Haber-Bosch process to produce ammonia. This step has an efficiency of around 90%. This costs 3-6x more expensive than blue hydrogen because the electricity is more valuable than methane gas.

    • @thomasgade226

      Electricity is zero price many times this year here in Europe, but only for 2-8 hours each time. So Topsøe made their SOEC to start/stop in seconds to capture those prices.

    I built a hydrogen generator and have been looking into storage options. My thoughts were to use a propane tank at low pressures. Are you storing your hydrogen in a compressed natural gas tank, are you using a liquid gas tank or are you using a special hydrogen cylinder? I don't know if I have access to any special cylinders in this area.

    Very interesting material. I have been watching your materials for two years. I created my own version of the hydrogen system. Uses 4 PEM generators, production 600ml/min H2. I built water buffers, dehumidifiers, filters. The hydrogen used stores up to 5 bar. I wonder how you managed to burn hydrogen. My stove reached a maximum of 98 degrees Celsius while trying to boil 1 liter of water. I suspect the hydrogen pressure was too low because my system was not keeping up with production relative to consumption. Regards

    • @konradpiotrowski5662

      I'm also wondering about the type of material for the burner. Under the slow-motion recordings, I can see penetrations of not only the orange flame, but also the blue one, which would indicate that oxygen has entered the mixture or that oxides are present as a result of the combustion of the burner materials.
