this was my least favorite season after noora’s despite sana being my favorite character. i hate the lack of girl!chris in this season despite her being sana’s closest friend in the previous seasons. it felt like the writers just had to squeeze noora in every single storyline when that wasn’t a problem in other seasons. the lack of communication between the characters felt frustrating to see.

AGREE SO MUCH WITH WHAT YOU SAID. SANA was such a beautifully written character, and so important.

I also believe that Sana was brave, despite what the critics say. Because she could have chosen the easy path and taken off her hijab for a guy. However, she fought against her desires which is something very admirable about her. Since no one talks about how hard it is to keep your religion in the western world!

even though i am not religious at all, as a turkish queer person, this season and the previous ones were the dearest to me for showing such realistic lives of minority teens who are like me. skam will always be THE series.

I would love it if for the next video you talk about the impact that this show has on Norwegian ppl and how big it was (if it was) and like how was the experience there

skam will always have a special place in my heart tbh i remember watching it as a teenager by myself and then rewatched it with my mom. it made us open up about ourselves and just overall talking with each other about our experiences. i remember we both cried so much with the finale (my mom's favourite character was sana!!) even tho i'm not muslim and neither is my mom, we're catholic, it was so inspiring seeing an openly religious person questioning their faith and growing from that. as you said, it was braver for her to wear her hijab than doing all these things to '''''free''''' herself. i hope you post more long versions of your analysis !! i love your commentary

FINALLYYYYYYY. I loved sanas season it was my favourite!! Although im not muslim her character was so interesting and relatable to me. The anger and frustration she felt sometimes were transported so good through the screen. Also Sana and youssef have my heart ❤

I think the relationship between Sana and Noora this season is great and also really realistic. You can be friends with someone and at the same time be jealous of them. I think Noora is everything that Sana wishes she could be (in moments when she's insecure about her indentity and culture) - blonde, Norwegian girl who is seen as pretty, quite popular and smart, while having strong morals (like: not drinking, being a feminist, being kind hearted and loyal to her friends) at the same time. Even the girls from Pepsi Max acknowledge that about Noora when talking about kicking Sana out of the russ buss (setting her as an opposite to Sana - pretty, cool and kind) + Sana thinks that Yousef sees Noora this way - like a Norwegian alternative of Sana? I really liked how Sana, even while being hurt and jealous of Noora, still remained kind to her and didn't try to bring her and her hapiness down. I'm so glad they ended up on good terms!
