Watch Before You Buy!!! Does Bigger Mean Better!!! DS18 Speakers(2015 Nissan Versa note)

Installing these massive ds18s was awesome. It was definitely a process to try to fit these speakers that was practically the same size as the wheels. Thankfully I was able to customize the OEM speaker harness was able to hold these ds18s. However, even thought these are one of the best sound speakers, does bigger mean better. "He knows a lot about the cutting" WTF
Take the heat shield off convertor. Cut a small square 3 sided hole in convertor, bend metal back. Take a hammer drill with a chisel adapter, break all the honeycomb out, weld the square shut. Done. This will keep piping all in one piece and much safer.
Why not take out all 3???!!!??? Whatever clogged the 1st one will eventually clog the 2nd and 3rd. Just be straightforward and install a whole straight pipe with a resonator 🤷🏾
So would it fkk up the car if you do cat delete 🤔
Are you khazarian?

@@DanMixcs-r7z greatness. A video you will be telling your grandchildren
This is trash lol literally worth a few hundred dollars
Where do u Work so I know not to go there
Lol. I couldn't figure out why the manifold still wouldn't loosen. Thanks to you I found the bolts on the very back, and dropped my 12mm socket into the depths... 😬 Going to call it a night and revisit it tomorrow. 😁
Jumping in again to say that the plug manufactures don't recommend anti-seize due to the risk of over-torqueing them. The anti-seize lubricates them a little too much! That being said, I use it and just be careful not to over-torque them.
Again true. I personally use them because I've had very bad experience with them getting lose and also being very tight. I didn't use it in this video but I actually use a torque wrench on spark plus and honestly anything that is recommended to use torque wrenches. I should have stated that in the video. Thank you for the honest review and comment.
Just jumping in to add that you only need to remove the covers on 2 and 3 to get atthe bolts... and the Hyundai H.
You right. Just extra stuff to make the video longer.
06:51 That's what she said!
😂😂😂
I do like the custom red paint in step one. Quite the pain in the ass to remove the engine cover when we have to get to work on the machine, but very impressive detailing.
He probably owns the shop, and they weren't gonna say no. But he's likley gonna see spots for a long time. What a douche bag..LMFDO 😂😂
He would have been better off with duct tape 😂

I know this vid is old. But how much did you torque the bolts. Im afraid of breaking the bolt
@@memetv975 Uga dugga that bolt. Lol tbh I don't remember. I hadn't even tightened it and it snapped
When your eyes are burnt, don't tell us why.
Thankfully, not burnt yet
🤡🤡🤡
How the hell this guys survived this long?? No straps on the pipe they are cutting No face shield Using wrong tool No welding mask shield eye protection No right clothes Oil fumes and throwing sparks everywhere Good luck guys
you didn’t need to cut it. it bolts on and off
Holding a grinder like that puts a target on your five head when it decides to kick back on you. Go ahead and take the “No accidents for_days” sign down when you get back to work.
12:09 your eyes 😂😂
What kind of tools did you use?
I have a 2002 4 cylinder with a muffler delete. I’ve been trying to find a body kit for the alero but I dont know where to get it and was wondering if you uave found any yet?
Yess
Face shield buddy
Did you have to add any extra hangers to hold the exhaust so it wouldnt drag? I want to do the same to mine but i can only see one hanger in the back were the muffler was, so im not sure if i cut it and have it come out the side, if it will drag.
Yes I did. The side exit exhaust was custom done at a shop
The _"I literally have no idea what im doing"_ was surprisingly reassuring since after seeing a fellow practitioner of the bruteforce method it sparked great confidence in me after realizing i wanted a catdelete this morning. The go with the flow figure it out along the way is severely underappreciated and has always served me well. most of the time. Sorta. 80% of the time it worked every time so the odds are in my favor imma just go for it
Just going with the wind. Or in this case the cutting wheel and welding
Why didn't he just unbolt it from the joint ? 😓
I was completely rusted shut. I tried to remove with everything I had.
🏎
You need an amp to get the full potential out of that sound system
Makes sense. I'll definitely try to install one next video. Stay tuned!!
After not posting in a “long minute”, what compelled you to do a video with cheap speakers and a Nissan whatever it is..?
Because why not? I mean they are definitely not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. Pretty nice speakers
Nothing going in your life huh?
@@WheeZeeyii a good work balance life. Blessed
Would they fit in a 2016 c63 s amg?
Looks like with some of forms online your is also a 6.5 speakers. So they should fit. But you also have to consider the depth of the speakers and with oem specs.
😄 yeah if I was you I wouldn't associate myself with that person anymore
@@salimkarimov7401 😂 Give it a guess bro
Shit, nvm. I already gave too big of a hint 😂
@headshot21000 lol I know who you are talking about bro. Let's not give him a shoutout
I hope you got welders flash for being that dumb too look at the weld like that with no shield you sir don’t have a brain grown up
so why didnt u just turn it on at the end of the video?
I probably lost the footage. When trying to edit this video my computer got messed up and I had lost alot of footage.
Bought a 98 accord with headers and a cold air. Needs a tune but I’m like…. May as well slap an exhaust on it hahaha
Go for it my guy and I actually recommend it because if you already have headers with increases air going out but have restricted mufflers and such it can actually burn your sensors much faster and throw a code. So might as well get better flowing exhaust to help the engine breath better. Best of luck
Protect your eyes FFS!
You should’ve done to catch elites
How did you remove the V6 and Hyundai logo on the plastic cover?
Did you figure this out yet? On my 2007 Tiburon GT V6, you just pry off the Hyundai logo like you do the other pieces. There is a bolt underneath the Hyundai logo also that needs to be removed to pull off the plastic cover. You don't need to remove the "V6" because there is not a bolt underneath it. From the looks of this video, the bolt underneath the Hyundai logo had already been detached from the cover. You can see it when he removes the cover. There should be a total of 5 bolts holding the cover on.
If your asking for painting reasons. I actually didn't, I covered it with tape, cut it out and then covered around it and just painted it. Im sure there is a way but I didn't have time for it unfortunately
Working with a butter knife 😂
Tired of replacing cats! I believe this is what I want done. Take off cats, straight pipe and leave the rest on. I can’t find any other videos.
Exactly!!!
Uhmm 99 there's Def a downstream 02. That started in 96.... combined with you calling a valve cover gasket a head gasket... and stating you have 4in exhaust going into a stock cast I think it would benefit for us all to know what shop you work at so we don't go there
Looks like a firestone uniform so I'm not surprised
LMAO. I was thinking the same thing lol. He also said the other o2 sensor was for a v6. I think he’d have a pretty hard time fitting that into a v6 lol
Dam this video made me cringe, first of all break every power tool you have, sencond never touch a welder again, third please find a different career like professional gaming or something 😂😅
Bro you don’t supposed to make sparks under your fuel tank
