Your product is all out of stock. Glad it’s a great product, but could we get an estimate on the back order timeframe.
We are producing and shipping every day. If we make 1000 RS7519 but sell 1001 RS7519 that item won't show up as "In Stock" even though practiclly every order has been filled. Orders are shipped first come first served so place your order ASAP to get fastest delivery. Thanks!
I will say this, I REALLY wanted to like this system and stuck with it for, trying different things, including buffer weights, springs, BCG’s, ammo and meticulous notes of the adjustments. I just could not get this to reliably run an EXTREMELY over gassed rifle after more than 2 90% full mags. I know it was the system because after 12 hours, and 9 range sessions over 1.5 months I changed to a superlative adj block and the damn thing runs like a hell bent colt newly released. I love the adjustability, the materials and the concept and so did many of the other shooters at my 2 ranges. But if you have a really over gassed rifle, this may not be the one. 😢
They make different plungers for fine tuning, I'm not sure if you tried that but it is supposed to help.
You obviously don't know how to adjust the Rifle Speed..I have fine tuned all of my Rifle speed adj gas blocks perfectly using different length plungers..The best way I found is to use a bore scope and visually see where the plunger sits to the gas port and adjust accordingly..I have replaced all of my adj gas blocks with Rifle Speed and Superlative was one of them..The Rifle Speed adj gas block is a game changer and leaves the others for the bargain bin counter..
@@alouiciousjackson5812 tried em all
@@hairydogstail tried different plungers, and even took to a gunsmith, and paid in case I was missing something. I really wanted to like & use it. In the end, didn’t work and even on a different rifle. The superlative worked right out of the box and with small adjustments I was banging out rounds in 5 min vs 2.5 months of tinkering and “fixing” a problem. So I OBVIOUSLY know how to adjust them, after having to practically take it apart and reengineer it. Great concept, but gets a 0, don’t recommend from me.
@@ronniereyes4632 So how does an over gassed rifle keep running over gassed if the plunger blocks the gas port?? Not buying it..
The likes are sitting at 223… I don’t wanna change it
I am using one for a .300 blk build; barrel is Ballistic Advantage 10.5 1-7 Twist and its port size is rather small; reads 0.0940 inch; it is a pistol length so my understanding is the barrel already gives me less gasses than normal; does this means I should install the second smaller plunger in my system provided in the packing? -other considerations for this setup is I will be using a kynshot Light buffer with a Springco Yellow light buffer spring, also a Radiant SD charging handle, made for suppressed. Thanks for the video!
AH CRAP. I didnt know I needed a new straight gas tube.
So do I buy an adjustable bcg too ?
No. Let the Gas Control do all the work at the port so you only deliver the gas you need to the BCG & no more.
@@riflespeed okk and are these the same gas blacks that come on wolf pack ars?
@@susanmcpeterson1136 Yes.

I have a 16 inch barrel that needs a mid length gas block. What model control do I need for it because I have a 15 inch hand gaurd. It sucks how they don’t tell me how long each one is when I select 1 of the 5 models.
The last two digits are the assembly length. www.riflespeed.com/Price-Weights-and-Dimensions-for-Riflespeed-Gas-Controls_b_8.html We have a new model coming soon that will work with your 15" handguard. At the moment the RS7558 is the best choice, but it is not as easy to adjust since your handguard allws almost no room to access the Control Knob. Thanks for your interest in RIflespeed!
For ANY one who is Sitting on the Fence thinking about weather or not to buy one of these gas blocks, I am here to tell you that after installing one on my Seekins custom build, It has now fullfilled my Dreams of the Perfect running AR-15. I Now know what the Pro's have known that "Gas is the Secret" mine is on 5 and it allows me to shoot my un-suppressed Rifle without Recoil, IT IS the WAY LUKE, "Loose the Gas Luke!"
are the riflespeed gas tubes required in conjunction with the Adj. gas blocks???
Straight gas tubes are required, but they don’t have to be ours. Several other manufacturers offer them. We offer seven sizes at riflespeed.com
I recently purchased a Rifle Speed product and have encountered several issues that I believe need addressing. The main problem lies with the plungers used for gas adjustment. Having to buy and switch out multiple plungers to control gas flow is inconvenient and feels like an unnecessary expense. Instead of selling additional plungers, the product should feature a single, adjustable plunger that can be fine-tuned from settings 1 to 12 (or more) as needed. This would allow users to lock it down, open it up fully, or make precise adjustments without the hassle of swapping parts. Additionally, the gas block gets extremely hot, making it challenging to adjust without risking a burn. This design flaw impacts the overall usability of the product. While the concept is good, these issues need to be resolved to improve the customer experience. Simplifying the gas adjustment system and addressing the heat problem would make this product much more user-friendly and reliable.
@@michaelstop Thanks for your purchase and feedback. The ability to change the Plunger is what makes the system so completely versatile, working on everything from a 5.5” Blackout to a 26” 300 Winchester Magnum and anything in between. We include the two most common sizes with every kit. Changing those is optional. If one of those two doesn’t work for your carbine we’ll send out a different one. If the Gas Control is too hot to touch them the rifle is running and the gas doesn’t need to be adjusted. Once you know your settings for your application you can select that setting prior to firing. The heat is a non issue then. Thanks again!
why only .750 why not .875 for 308 barrels,
We have .625" and .875" as well! www.riflespeed.com/Gas-Controls-_c_11.html
With this system, you could design a can that would automatically reduce the gas port as you threaded it to the muzzle device. That would be slick
Why wouldn’t you sell a jig for drilling the cross pin? It makes no sense.
Good assembly animation, but otherwise, meh.
Everywhere else I've seen suggests 4 o'clock ejection pattern is ideal. Essentially 4 would be good, 3 would be OK. I suspect your view differs because more gas = more reliable?
awesome answered all the questions i had!
I've been using one of these for two years now. The pin still carbon locks. You'll still need a crude pry tool to adjust the ring, once that has happened. It's a bit of a drawback. But it's probably the most field-expedient option, since you don't need a specific wrench, or a long soak in a solvent tub. I have had no other problems with it.
Stupid question, but can you use an odd shaped crosspin with a barrel that’s not been drilled for pinning? Meaning, no notch in the barrel but there’s still a semi-circle gap where an odd shaped pin could technically fit through.
Any thoughts on adding a fsb model for this? This is by far the best adjustable gas block I've seen.
We have it designed, but there is nearly zero demand. Thanks!
Great knowledge!!👍🏼🤙🏽
Not sure I want to buy one. Could just buy a PWS, but I like the thought of staying with Stoner's design and remaining American AF.
Jim Sullivan stated the one mistake they made when they designed the AR15 was not putting an adjustable gas metering system in it..He says this is still a problem with the M4 rifle..Rifle Speed corrected this..
Pretty dumb that the roll pin for duty use is not gi spec, why deviate from industry standard?
Because there is no “industry standard”

this is exactly why I looked this video up. I have an adjustable gas block and I don't like the fact that if I tune it for my suppressor then it won't run without it.
So this in fact with factory plunger will give the rifle the ability to cut all gas and essentially make the bolt not cycle like a bolt action?
@riflespeed
I'm pretty sure that the plungers included with this gas block won't completely block the gas system. I just got one but haven't installed it yet. When looking up through the gas port opening at the top of the block and at the lowest setting of 1, it appears that the end of the plunger doesn't fully block the opening. It should be possible with a longer plunger.
Can you close off the port with the longest plunger then? I want to manually load 300 blk suppressed sometimes
I'm not smart. Will this work for a gas piston system?
Not at this time
buttttt... I dont oil my bcg . Or clean my rifles . Will it still work ?
Gotta do all that to find out what block u need … I’ll pass good product tho
Too complicated for you huh Cletus?
What is the barrel size on the FDE?
this video sounded amazing in only my left ear
I just purchased and installed the Rifle Speed gas block on my DPMS Oracle .308 upper. The only problem I has was the blow back tube out of the RifleSpeed was not at the elevation as the entry into the upper. Like shown in the video. Maybe .125 difference. Also, the tube coming out of the Rifle Speed made it so I had to modify, clear material on the hand guard retaining ring to clear the tube. With these two issues, the gas block did install, snugly. I did have to "help" the gas block in to position, but it did go on and the gas tube has a slope from the gas block to the upper. The rear set screw did line up with the original dimple on the barrel, the forward one did not. Not a big deal because of the overall fitment. No range report at this time.
Did you use the RS straight tube or a standard gas tube?
I used the RS gas tube. Overall, I'm happy, but RS doesn't acknowledge this. I eve did a review on their website of my experience since that is where I bought it from. I didn't slam them or anything, just what I posted here and they didn't let the review go through. That tells me a lot about a company.@@illestdomer2005
I would like to have full adjust abilities of my gas block. Do you have one that would completely shut the gas off to the bolt when set at 1 ?
Does riflespeed make an adjustable gas block for a 7.5” 300 blackout barrel? Spec .750 7” rail
I go from suppressed to unsuppressed and back a lot. These GB are great. Had to take my one off my 300 blackout because I was loosing too much pressure with subs to us the carbine buffer. Would work with a 1 ounce buffer but then my bolt velocity was too much for supers. My BCG was part of the problem because it was kind of in a patient, but it was already on the bleeding edge of running everything. No big deal because I build a new PRS gas gun that now has it on it. I can switch my zero and gasing now with the info I put in a little notebook. I love it.
This is very informative! Just the information I was looking for. Question: I bought my riflespeed setup last month, but am still waiting on my upper to complete my build. The package came with a second plunger, but I can’t find where on the packaging what size it is. Can you please let me know what the size is of the second included plunger? Thanks!!
Plunger #887 is included in the retail package with each RIFLESPEED™ Gas Control (manufactured after June of 2023. In conjunction with the installed Plunger #917, these sizes provide coverage of the nearly the full range of potential settings needed for every configuration we've identified during development of the RIFLESPEED™ Gas Control and allow the shooter to select the best Plunger for a specific firearm. Additional sizes are available for those who choose to precisely tune their Gas Control's settings or who have a configuration that falls outside of the more typical range. We will work with you to ensure you have the correct size for your firearm if the included Plungers aren't right for your setup.
Awesome! I’ll need to install the shorter one now, my rifle wouldn’t hold open at 12 but when I added a suppressor it would hold at 8. Thank you for the clarification.
Running into the same thing. Which one(s) did you go with instead?
😔 P r o m o S M
License this to Ruger for their SFAR
Also the max length tube is 1/2” too short….. you can sell a shit load of these for the Ruger SFAR customers
I ended up buying a short hand guard which is better than stock
What do you mean max tube length?
I have your Block… looking for the recommended pins for my Ruger SFAR 16” for 7.62 and hot 308
😂😂😂 lol I'm running a strike industries adjustable gas block!! The stock one just doesn't cut it!
With the huxwrx ti 762 and light loads (armscor 308 and 7.62x51 fed) in 30 degree temps it runs about a 6 to 7 with the stock plunger. I ran a few hotter loads unsuppressed and was getting lock back around 5. Ymmv. Hux is a very low pressure can. I'm thinking of trying the shorter plunger bc 30 is a warm day on hoth but I bet in warmer temps I will go back to the larger plunger.
Best adj gas block on the market..
Great info!
How hard is to turn that knob on basic model? I was thinking about using Riflespeed gas block with FSB cutout handguard. Could it work that way?
You may want to add a window opposite the. FSP window to make it a bit easier to adjust, but yes.
Would the dimple screws line up with a centurion barrel?? And please make a tabbed version to index with their tabbed barrels.....
YES!
I'm running a 10" pistol length gas system 300blk with a 12" gaurd, obviously the website says no model will work for my firearm.are there any other reasons that would be besides accessibility? I would be willing to modify my guards to accommodate access to the gas control If so.i plan on running a suppressor and light weight bolt but I've got to buy them piece by piece, this would be a tremendous help when getting new parts..
You can easily run an RS7519 or RS7521 under a windowed handguard. We are adding this to our upper options, beginning with 300AAC. We’ll have pics of this available on the site soon. Feel free to email support@rif…..com in the meantime. Thanks
@riflespeed2349 just like that I'm convinced! Thank you for your support and your quick response!
Probably not a good idea to pin and weld the muzzle device with this gas block?
We do it all the time. No problem at all. Be sure you’ve chosen the best Plunger first. In the end, it’s just as easy to un-pin a muzzle device as it is to pin one, though. Thanks for your interest in Riflespeed.
I can say without any reservations, this is the best adj gas block on the market..No more allen wrenches or frozen adjusters..The carbon build up is easy to remove..I have replaced 3 of my rifles gas blocks with Rifle Speed Adj gas blocks...Worth every penny.
Glad to hear it. Thanks for your support and your review!
No frozen adjusters? I got one of these for a 300 blackout. The first time I used it, I was finding settings for subs and supers using the shortest plunger. Within about 50 rounds, I could no longer turn the knob. The plunger was completely carbon-locked inside the block. I had to take off the hand guard and use a screwdriver blade to work the plunger enough to get the knob off. I completely cleaned it and lubed it. The second time using it, I fully rotated the knob after every magazine (10 rounds each) to see how free it was. After about 30 rounds (3 mags) it was getting difficult to turn. After 2 more mags, frozen again.
@@SubtlenimbusI have put hundreds of rounds through mine during one shooting and the plunger never got stuck..I also have SLR, Superlative and Syrac adj gas blocks.. These are much worse for carbon freeze and they will run hundreds of rounds between cleaning and oiling..Sorry if I don't believe you..
@@hairydogstail I dont care if you believe me. I have no reason to make things up. Perhaps it's the pistol length gas or the powder. I'm still going to work with it to see if I can get it to do what I need, but so fat no luck.
@@Subtlenimbus Something isn't right, I have used crappy Wolf and Tula ammunition and never had the problems you are describing..The worst I had was the plunger stuck a little after a long period of time without oiling or moving the adjustment knob.. I popped the plunger loose with a little screw driver with out removing anything. I never cleaned it and it ran just fine..I'll add a little oil now after shooting 2 to 3 hundred rounds..Unlike other adj gas blocks, the plunger in the RS is easy to remove and service..All adj gas blocks need to be serviced once in awhile, but claiming it gets difficult after 30 rounds is something I have never encountered on any of my 5.56 or 300 black out rifles....
