Union Pacific Cotton Belt Patched Unit #1004! (ft. up lwj72, ace, & coast starlight)
Well this is pretty neat! On MLK day, I had the chance to go catch the LWJ72 in San Jose Diridon to see UP 1068 but it was taken out of the Salinas hauler , while waiting I saw ACE and Amtrak Coast Starlight. So I went to go see UP 1004 on the LSF51, and chasing it was well worth it!

A little catch from 12/10/24, got a heads up that there was an Amtrak Dash 8 on A14 Coast Starlight so I decided that I wanted to see it at San Jose Diridon station. See you on the mainline!
Niles Canyon Railway Train of Lights 2024!

Hello everyone! Yearly round, the NCRy has a Christmas train called the "Train of Lights" which usually runs Southern Pacific #5472 & Western Pacific #713 . It is a very nice and beautiful showcase of the talent of the volunteers working there! So when I saw the dates it was running, I had to go check it out at night to see the lights, and it is truly beautiful! See you on the mainline!

These are the Caltrain diesels & gallery cars before the retirement and replacements of the Caltrain EMU's, most of these clips are from my club, The South Bay Historical Railroad Museum. Hello everyone! On September 15, the Niles Canyon Railway was going to run the Robert Dollar Co. 3, operated by the Niles Canyon Railway, located in Fremont, California, I saw that the NCRy was taking the Robert Dollar Co. for a excursion, and so I went to railfan a cool 2-6-2 tank! It was really fun railfanning with other people and very fun to chase the train! See you on the mainline!

Today I had a great opportunity to take a shot on Union Pacific's Big Boy, though disappointed waiting for 4014 to go to Colfax but being delayed because the Big Boy hit a tree, I still got one shot of the 1.2 million pound locomotive. Did I see the fireman in the cab wearing white tennis shoes ? ? ? ? Professionalism or what. That car #1830 looks like an abortion gone wrong. At least the canvas portions should have had the same contours as that center section. Toy train "kit bash" job.
#1830 is supposed to be an "open observation" I believe

This video only showcases Robert Dollar Co. 3, you could probably find other videos on the locomotives you mentioned, and they are all in well preservation!
