their cask strength is outstanding. I liked the red corn too tho!

I had the privilege of doing a distillery tour this week and their monthly single barrel bourbon pick was sold out. However their distillery only 6 year bourbon was available for purchase AND tasting. I found the nose exquisite but it was too oaky on the palate. Drying and bitter in fact. They have to watch that as does Garrison Bros and other Texas distilleries where the heat can be a huge factor in the breathing process of the barrel.

Got to love those Bourbon Junkies! BTW, John, I learned about your channel from your neighbor Dinah! She heard I was a bourbon lover and told me to Check you out. ! I’m so happy that it was that these are interchangeable. The Rick house barrel proof is so readily available by me in a couple of stores. I’ll pay the 75 bucks. Weller Full proof if a store has it is min 230 by me.

Although the Holloday is available, it’s priced a bit too high. It should be $20 cheaper. If priced right it would be a no-Brainer to try.

You guys need mics, presentation is nice though.

I absolutely love Dancing Goat. It is fun to visit the distillery every now and then to see if there is any new craziness they are working on.

As a proof hound I'm sure I’d enjoy this. I prefer the 120+ has a malted that was 153 proof and the best whiskey I've ever tasted and I've been drinking for over 45 years. Blending isn't hard you just have to have the quality products to start with. Which they certainly have that.

Pass for me even being lightly finished. I'm not a finished guy I do like their sour mash bottles. I didn't know they made a sweet mash. Enjoy!!🥃🥃🥃

You all have great energy! :) For a couple of the questions that came up during the review I have some information for you: Currently Evernorth Spirits can either be purchased from the tasting room or from the Bourbon Junkies Patreon page Essence FS-1 - $59.99 MGP - 6 year - 75c/21r/4mb - 110 proof Essence FS-2 - $64.99 MGP - 6 year - 75c/21r/4mb - 120 proof Both of these offerings were from the same barrel after it was finished with amburana. The 110 was a portion of the barrel that was proofed down separately. Hope this helps and look forward to you reviewing more Evernorth bottles in the future :)

I wonder if you added some water what the notes would be. Maybe in the future add water to higher proofs to unlock flavor profiles.

Both a pass for me just to sweet I’m more of a bold lightly sweet spicy guy. Knob creek Rare breed WT 101. Are in my wheelhouse. I do enjoy the Barrel proof from Penelope have never seen Red line.

Guys... A few things... 1) It is Cigar Batch, not blend 2) There are three different Cigar Batch options: Bourbon, Rye and Rum - which did you sample? 3) Each barrel is called out on the label at the bottom, next to the proof 4) Not all of them are the same, especially between the new and multiple cycle barrels 5) Dark Arts 6) Really love the look. Rather dapper, sans the chewing and talking with your mouth full while doing the tasting.
