Y de esta bateria nació la base del rap 😮😮😮
All of them are phenomenal
Pocket pays people. If your head isn't bobbing to this, you've not got the soul to be funky.
Friesen Brooks
He allows for just enough space between the notes but is on time perfectly for every down beat. It's mesmerizing!
Hit it Clyde! Clap your hands and stomp your feet in the Jungle Brother!
He played the organ like he was scratching on the turntables
clyde’s playing is obviously amazing, but when the guitar comes in, before the camera pans over, i already KNEW that was john scofield playing. unmistakeable tone🔥🔥🔥
Just damn.
True drummers know this man’s name ❤
2024
The most sampled brotha in hip hop history, besides James Brown himself.
when class, style, talent & ability collide
Shout out to the organ and bass player too

@@bonzo8617 because there a mission where in the game you thieves steal instruments to resell on the black market and you have to recover them so the community museum isn’t shut down. This is one of the people you learn about and some of us are interested enough to search more information on some of the musicians spoke about.
@@bonzo8617It's a mission in the game.
Frfr lol
💫✨ Dem sum baaaaad booze rat dare, nah!!! 🥁🎸🎹🎺 Showin’ out, sho-nufF!!! 💫✨
Gottttt Dammm man do these guys get paid for this or is they just B.Sing around jammin?
The man that single-handedly brought Hip Hop from the streets to the center stage. R.I.P Mr. Stubblefield.
Brilliant. Funky as f*ck.
everybody: what a session with Clyde on drums! . . . Then John Scofield appears and everything became legendary!
Yep, I could never read music, either. Could only play by what I hear. Clyde was excellent. I am nowhere near as good as Clyde, not even in the same room with him. Hats off to the man!
Gives mad credit & love for those drummers who play by ear 👂 You hear it, feel it, play it...read when you in the orchestra!!!😅
Clyde and a go-go band from DC....ooh wee THE POCKET !!!😊
Man, you know you are a freakin' legend when John Scofield plays background complementary guitar for you, Prince pays for your medical bills and about every drummer mentions you as unique and a milestone.
He’s the most influential drummer in the history of hip hop, and he never played hip hop. He was the master of that break beat style
Oh snap! Stank face 2.5 seconds in.
Wow!!!
He is bad ass
This is what jammin is all about, giving each other the moment to shine, respect
Alexa, play me some of that nasty, 2000 year old, rotting, mummified, skunky, swamp gas, chili fart, fromage, funk. This came up, and it didn't disappoint.
James Brown funk drummer. Stubblefield got to make many people dance.
Best drummer ever hands down. GOAT.
Nobody alive or dead could bring the funk like Clyde Stubblefield and Jabo Starks.
Greg Errico and David Garibaldi can
I AM NOT A DRUMMER. With that said only another drummer can’t appreciate his drumming skills. To us it just sounds nice but there is so much more going on. It is very sad and disgraceful that this man died poor, lonely and un recognized. He didn’t get a pennie for every song that sampled aka digital stealing all of his drum playing. Any time you here a sample of funky drummer it’s because literally he is playing drum on that
People saying Clyde was not good is just sad. While his playing might no be overly “technical”, His pocket and groove are so deep and tight, it’s what one aspires to. Music is art, not a competition. ✌🏻
*THE REAL FUNK*
Lovin'n that Yamaha kit!
this is a drummers job. right here. these days drummers think it is all about them with their triplet fills etc.
a blessing to catch a good riff!
It would seem like Jack Stratton was wrong
now that's my kind of drummer. Music Theory? man, let's just jam!
